Coco, the oldest beach on Costa Rica's Pacific Northwest is the resort hub for hotels and condos on the coast. This relaxed tourist town has many comforts: a big grocery story, a dozen restaurants, spa, shopping, bank, pharmacy, internet cafes, and is 20 minutes from the international airport at Liberia. Visitors from all over the world visit Coco Beach to surf the famous Witches Rock, deep sea fish and boat in the calm inlets. Beyond Coco Beach are popular rain forests and national parks.
Look forward to permanent spring and summer like weather, relaxation and healthy food! Fish, steak, beans, rice, fruit salad and bread are typical menu items. There are many resort areas and subdevelopments surrounding Coco Beach, but everyone comes to Coco Beach because there is more to do: restaurants, bars, tourism agencies, realty companies, dive shops, an art gallery, casino and surfing guides. The Coco Verde hotel and casino in the middle of town is a popular hangout. There are numerous and inexpensive taxis and rental cars available.
