  We had an absolute amazing time staying at this home. The house itself was very nice and clean and had a great floor plan. We had our one year old son and my parents with us and seemed to have plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. The fenced in back yard is wonderful for having little ones around. We did some fishing from the boat dock area and caught some saltwater trout, saltwater catfish and even a sting ray! The drive into Galveston was very short and made it very easy to commute back and forth. All in all, we had a wonderful time and cannot wait to rent this house again, hopefully for a longer stay!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

  We really enjoyed our stay over Memorial Day Weekend. The house was very new and clean and everything worked perfectly. Definitely one of the nicest, cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. Having the master bedroom and bath on a separate floor was also a very nice touch. Although we only had our two children and a friend, the two guest bedrooms had plenty of room for 6. We had planned to fish all weekend, but the wind was blowing 30+ the entire time. Despite the wind, we were able to fish off the docks and did very well. The house has a nice overhead fishing light and fish cleaning table. My 12 year old so and I caught quite a few keeper Trout, including a couple that were 3 pounds plus, and probably 25 Redfish, although the majority of these were just under 20 inches. It was a blast for my son and very easy. We also rented a golf cart for the weekend at Tiki Toys and had a lot of fun tooling around the island. The proximity to Galveston was also great, with dozens of restaurants and the Strand within easy driving distance. It was also nice not having to deal with all of the usual west-end Galveston Traffic. All in all, it was a very nice weekend and we look forward to doing it again.

  My wife and I spent almost a week at this wonderful home just prior to Christmas 2010 prior to visiting family in the Houston area. It was so relaxing we never wanted to leave. The home was equipped with every imaginable amenity, it was spotless, and perfectly situated for our jaunts into Galviston. The owners met us upon arrival and ensured we were comfortable prior to their departure. Wonderful folks and absolutly the best host imaginable. We will return. While ther our grandchildren visited for a few days. They caught fish off the dock, from the upper deck (almost), and just about from anywhere a 9 and 11 year old could imagine fishing.. Everyone enjoyed the huge deck and the meals and activities which took place there on a daily basis. Although we did not bring our boat, after investigating the proximity of launch areas, and the excellent dock at the home we will do so on our return visit. Thanks again fir a wonderfuk stay!

  I would like to thank the wonderful family for allowing me to stay at their beautiful home in Tiki Island. Not only was the view breath taking but the great weather and peaceful setting made for some awesome fishing. The home was extremely clean and very welcoming. The location was very convenient to all attractions and activities Galveston had to offer. Thanks for a memerable weekend.
