Casa Danza……Hard to find a nicer place to stay on the East Cape. We had a lively group of six…..two couples and two singles. A spacious home on the beach which is beautifully appointed. Large open living area, bedrooms and bathrooms are very roomy, and kitchen area is open and well lighted. Everything one needs to have a relaxing and fun week is there. From the great music CD’s and game collection to kayaks for beach activities. Great beach to stroll on is 30 yards out the door. Sunrises are special…especially with a morning cup of coffee in your hand. Shore fishing right out the door. Evenings with a few Margaritas can easily lead to dancing under the Dome…..in the center of the Great Room. Wi-Fi connection is excellent and having the comfort of a phone connection to the US was reassuring. There are plenty of unique side trips available. Cabo Pulmo and Los Frailes for beach, snorkeling, and scuba activites to Los Barriles for a good selection of shopping and restaurant locations. Los Barriles also has a very large English speaking ex-pat population. The unamimous vote for the best Margarita went to Hotel Playa Colorada about three miles down the beach…or a short drive from Casa Danza. For a fun and different evening out we really enjoyed La Trinidad RV Ranch just a short distance from the house. We still talk about some of the evening activities there. Casa Danza is a gem. John and Lynn were extremely helpful in answering questions while we were preparing for the trip. It’s readily apparent that Casa Danza is special to them and they carry that over to their guests. No question about it….an easy five star recommendation.
Owner response:Richard, Thanks so much for the wonderful review and the kind words. We hope to see you back at Casa Danza. Regards, John & Lynn

My husband and I (and my parents) enjoyed a wonderful week at Casa Danza in July. The house, which is right on a glorious sand beach, is absolutely beautiful. John and Lynn were fanatic to deal with. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Every detail was considered. Erendida and her family made us feel right at home. We could not rave more about our experience, from start to finish. Oh, and I would be remiss if I did not mention the fishing right in front of the house - fabulous. My husband's fantasy come true! A WONDERFUL VACATION - WE WILL BE BACK!!

What a wonderful holiday my family had at Casa Danza in June. The pictures and listing descriptions only HINT at what we found at Casa Danza. The property is amazingly private...as though we owned that portion of the Sea of Cortez. We breakfasted on the South patio and dined on the beachfront porch watching the fish jump, the sun set and the moon rise. Every amenity you can imagine has been provided....well furnished kitchen, tastefully decorated common rooms and bedrooms with plenty of privacy and space for "alone time". Lots of recreational toys to enjoy the beach and games, movies, books to entertain all ages. Our vacation was truly exceptional! I would recommend Casa Danza withour reserve! It may just be the closest you will get to Paradise.

Having spent much of our travels in the eastern Caribbean, this was our first time to the East Coast of the Baja. What a wonderful treat. Casa Danza turned out to be more than I had expected. We arrived in the mid-afternoon just as the sun was overhead and when we walked through the front door and looked right out the back to the blue waters and white sands, we knew this would be one of the best vacations ever. The homes location to the water and the privacy of the beaches made us feel like we were the only ones around. One of the other reasons we selected Casa Danza had to do with the fishing. Living on Nantucket for many years, on shore fishing was a normal part of life on island. At Casa Danza the ability to walk out the door and cast my line was so reminiscent of those years on Nantucket. Also, one of the local fishing boats actually picked us up right from the beach in front of Casa Danza. Now great is that? The rooms were very comfortable and with the ocean breeze we could leave the windows open and enjoy the sounds of the surf and smells of being near the water. Overall what a great place to relax with family, friends or just hang back and enjoy some quite time. I can only hope that Casa Danza is available next year when we plan our vacation. This is a must for those looking for a truly amazing experience.

Our stay at Casa Danza was perfect! We arrived Christmas Day to find the house even better than the photos (the Christmas tree was just one of the many extras the owners provided). Large rooms, huge bathrooms, very clean and filled with everything you could need. We felt right at home! Eren and her family cooked the most wonderful meals for us and they were helpful in every way! Lynn and John Stasz have a beautiful home and we are so glad to have had a chance to stay there. They run a top notch rental and we can't wait to go back! The sunrises and sunsets are amazing! We were lucky to be there during a full moon and it was incredible!! You will love Casa Danza!!

The house luxurious. We saw the most amazing sunsets and watched a whale breach from the deck. The owners and property managers are wonderful people, ready to help with your every need (including arranging for home cooked meals). We found a little piece of paradise and will definitely return. Great villa on the beach Beadman Albuquerque, NM USA Review Submitted: April 13, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008 Dear John and Lynn, Pam and I want to thank you again for opening your beautiful home to us on our recent visit. I think that this was the 3rd or 4th stay for us and we will be back again. We have been lucky enough to have rented homes in Belize, St. Croix and other Mexico locations and I must say that your Villa is our favorite. The beach outside your back patio is fantastic and watching the sunrise is a great way to start each morning. On our last visit, the sea turtles were laying their eggs and we had one lay her eggs right in front of your home, fantastic! There is nothing better then meeting our boat captain right in front of the house in the morning and returning that afternoon with fresh fish for ceviche and fish tacos. We have really become attached to the local village, La Ribera. The people there are so kind and helpful and finding all of the little mini-supers is like a treasure hunt. We would highly recommend your Villa for people that love the beach life because there are few places like Casa Danza. I would like to add, upon arrival we have had Erindita's sister prepare a meal and have it waiting for us. This is a delightful touch; by the time we leave the airport in San Jose Del Cabo and do the shopping, we are tired from the traveling. This added bonus allows us to settle in and enjoy a delicious home cooked dinner while relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views.

A great week at Casa Danza jim Encinitas, CA. USA Review Submitted: March 19, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2008 Dear Lynn and John, We can't even begin to tell you what a wonderful time we had. Your home was truly the perfect place to vacation. Not only is it beautiful it was so relaxing. Everyday just got better and better, we hated to leave. I told Jim as soon as we arrived this is it, I can stay here forever, and of course he agreed having fishing at his finger tips every moment. Actually I caught the first Roster Fish. I think we caught about everything we could. We had our dinner made for us on Friday and it was wonderful, just like you said it would be. Also, our son got engaged. Her parents were there with us so it was a very happy occasion. Jim met Paul as soon as we arrived and they hit it off right off the bat. Paul was so kind to tell Jim when to fish and what to look for. Although, Jim if possible, would of fished from dawn to dusk. We just want to thank you for sharing your home with us and we will definitely want to go again if you will have us. The key will be in the mail today. Many, Many, Thanks Connie and Jim
