This newly upgraded house on an acre has 5 bedrooms one of which is a large studio with its own bathroom and kitchen. Both sides of the house have beautiful views of the rolling hills and valleys of Fallbrook and Bonsall.
There are newly installed travertine floors and showers, hard wood floors, 6 burner industrial quality gas stove top, brand new stainless steel oversized separate fridge and freezer. The studio has it's own standard size fridge/freezer and stainless steel oven and range top and granite counter tops. Pool table, large flat screen tv, wood burning fireplace with new travertine.
The property is conveniently located near all that San Diego and Southern California has to offer, Beaches, Legoland, San Diego Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Disneyland.
The Temecula Wine Country is just 15 minutes away for a day of wine tasting. The Fallbrook Winery is just a couple minutes up the road and offers special pricing for our guests.

I stayed with my family for Christmas week 2011. The positives of the house were amount of room (lots of space/sleeping), great table for eating (with lots of room), wonderful pool and hot tub area and plenty of plates/knifes, cooking utensils available. Owner was fairly responsive to most calls though we did have a lot of questions and some problems with propane gas for hot tub. Negatives: House was probably not ready to rent out. Most importantly - no access to washer/dryer and not enough towels for large groups for bath and pool. We had hard time drying the few towels that we had. Also there were not clear instructions on operating fire place (which was needed b/c downstairs area got cold at night) and hot tub/pool - which needed to be heated. There were no towel racks in bathrooms, little space to put toothpaste/toiletries, no closets in upstairs room, missing fire utensils, and missing electrical outlet plates. We never saw pool/spa cleaner. Front gate did not work. The kitchen was small (hard for large group/family to use) and it was important to note that there was not a ice-maker/water dispenser in refrigerator. Gourmet gas stove had to be kept lit so it could be used which caused smell in kitchen. While the location was within close driving distance of beach (Oceanside pier was very nice) and Legoland, etc. -the house was located in a residential neighborhood which was a bit awkward. I am not sure I would recommend this rental to anyone until issues addressed above.Owner response: Items have been remedied. There were fireplace tools available by the outdoor fire pit. central heat makes the entire house the temperature you would like. We are unable to offer a washer and dryer but there are laundromats nearby. If ever a guest has a problem, we are happy to bring more towels etc.. with just a phone call. We aren't sure what she means about the residential neighborhood, aren't homes usually in residential neighborhoods? Most homes in the area are on about an acre of land which gives you lots of space and privacy. The guest had the pool heated to 90 degrees in the middle of winter, in suumer it isn't necessary to heat the pool.
