We had an amazing time at this home and no one wanted to leave. The location is fantastic, just one block from the shores of Lake Michigan, and surrounded beautiful homes. The interior of the home was gorgeous, very well maintained and offered plenty of living space. The pool and hot tub were a big hit! Next opportunity we have, we would love to come back and stay again. Thank you so much for the spectacular accomodations!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This home was perfect for my family. It had all the amenities that I needed and then some. The property was very well maintained and it even had a crib and high chair for my 1 year old niece. The teenagers were able to play on their computers with the wireless internet and the adults hung out in the enclosed porch. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely rent this home again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family and I stayed here last week and it was absolutely stunning. The house is professionally decorated and includes everything you would need for a week of relaxation. The bathrooms are like spas. Heated pool, screened in porch, bbq grill, golf cart, board games, gourmet kitchen appliances, and utensils are brand new and awesome. Every time I turned the corner, some other detail appeared to my pleasant surprise. They did not skimp on anything. We only had one issue with the plumbing and the owner had a team of workers over immediately to fix it (problem solved). The owner clearly goes above and beyond. We looked at so many other houses in this price range and nothing compared to this. So close to the beach too. This truly is a Grand Retreat. We are hoping to make this a yearly vacation. Gorgeous rental and an amazing deal for what's all included!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We visited the Grand Beach Rtetreat over Memorial Day weekend and althought the weather was less than cooperative, the stay was very pleasant. The owner was very attentive to the details which made our stay enjoyable. They had thought of everything to make you feel right at home. There were three days of rain but with the hot tub and games that were supplied, (many, many games), there was more than enough things to keep us occupied. When it did clear up, the heated pool proved to be very relaxing. The golf cart was used to explore the area. We would definately recommend this house to anyone interested in staying in this area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: Grand Retreat, LLC is a family-owned vacation property. The managing partner, Jim Bachleda, has been a resident of Grand Beach for 15 years and resides locally. Problems will be solved immediately. It is our intention to provide not just a rental house, but a luxury vacation experience. We hope to establish long-term relationships with those seeking a worry-free and thoroughly delightful beach getaway each summer.
