We had a magnificent stay at Steamboat Valhalla - despite the lack of snow. The house is spacious, comfortable, and delightfully appointed. Our group of 6 adults and 3 kids (6-9) had plenty of space without stumbling over each other, and we enjoyed the games and extensive DVD collection. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large. Really enjoyed the steam showers. Location was great - if you didn't have to schlep skis, you could walk to the gondola in 10 minutes; with skis it was a 10-15 minute free bus ride and the bus ran at least 3 times each hour. Valhalla's a bit pricy, but worth every cent!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Steamboat Resort is great. The mountain is very spread out...Something for everyone! It snowed every day were here--not a lot but probably a total of 9-10 inches over the week!! The only "problem" was getting out in the morning and then again at night. Steamboat Valhalla induces such a state of tranquility and relaxation that it's hard to leave!! There were mornings I didn't get out til noon...and as far as the restaurants go...couldn't tell you...again, we were all perfectly content with "just hanging out"!! Your mountain home is truly phenomenal. From the espressos to the comfy beds...I highly doubt we'll stay anywhere nicer!

Five feet of new snow! It was our best skiing in 15 years of ski trips in the Western US and Canada! We love the house and looked forward to all of its comforts each day. The kitchen, beds (!), robes, and TVs were all appreciated. It's a lovely home with an easy trek to the Gondola and town plus a magnificent view. We hope to return to it!

We loved the view, the furnishings, games, PS2, and the beds! The kids especially loved Emus; they're still wondering when he'll talk. No snow, which was a bummer, but we still got some good runs in. And to cap it all off, the last night of Winter Carnival was fantastic. A skier on fire, jumping through a ring of fire--unbelievable! Thanks again for allowing us to rent the place. We'll be back this summer!

Some way to usher in the New Year! From skiing, Of course, to the Wonderful movies that we saw, Bundled on the couch, Undoubtedly, a good time for us all. Not only did "Emus" guard our Numerous Involved leg wrestling battles, but Everything was positively Superb!

Absolutely is the most beautiful condo we have stayed at in Steamboat. Wonderful view and so relaxing to stay there. Catch the bus to go skiing right in front of the condo. What moew could you ask for? No one could possibly be disappointed with anything about this condo if they booked their vacation here.

We had a WONDERFUL vacation with fabulous skiing, magnificent scenery, great food and the BEST ACCOMMODATIONS EVER!! We have stayed at several ski condos together and this ws by far our favorite! We couldn't have had a better time. From spring skiing to walnut oil, cartwheels to party girl--the only thing that could have been more perfect was if I had gotten a 90 Shilling hat from stupid boy.

We were especially impressed with the professional barbecue set up and the bar-quality foosball table! You have a beautiful place in a terrific part of the country and we hope to be back again! What a beautiful stay. The amenities, top of the line appliances, bathrobes, steam showers, espresso machine, hot tub made our trip to Steamboat very memorable. Zach enjoyed his 12th B-Day at Steamboat Valhalla. We had a great time watching the evening winter carnival fireworks. This vacation home is luxe!

We came to ski but didn't leave the house for 3 days. The view is just spectacular from any chair. The decor was done to perfection, every detail was taken to thought. Whenever you turn a corner, you find a new perk, but the robes and the slippers set it off. Thank you everyone included for making this a week I will never forget.
