Great location in Ocean Lakes, site #D4A Perwinkle Drive that is close to all amenities. It is an easy walk to the beach that is about 450 feet from house. The indoor/outdoor pools and recreation hall are 600 feet from house. There is 24 hours security and a one mile strip of sandy beach. Enjoy sunbathing or seek the shade on the spacious first floor deck. Second floor deck has access from 2 front bedrooms, there is also a deck on the back of the house with a door stepping into the kitchen and a door leading from the 1st floor bedroom. You can alway find the sun with the 3 decks to choose from! Inside you will enjoy the open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen. 1st Floor bedroom, king bed, with a large bathroom that includes a washer and dryer. Second floor - 4 bedrooms with 2 full baths. There is also 1 queen sofa bed in the living room. There are TVs and ceiling fans in the living room and all 5 bedrooms.
Includes free Wireless Internet.
Recreations Amenities: Shuffleboard, playgrounds, ping pong, volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, and cards. Board games and bike rentals are available for your enjoyment. All equipment may be checked out in the Recreation Office. I.D. Wristbands are available in the Recreation Office for your children. Get the activity calendar from the Recreation Office. Golf carts can be rented through Ocean Lakes.
Guests will need to provide their own paper products and linens. Cleaning is the responsibility of our guests. Linen service available. Call Haigney Linen 843-448-4754 to arrange. Cleaning services are available at an additional cost, inquire when making your reservations.

My son and I were looking for a last minute getaway and were delighted to find this house! The house was perfect, beautifully decorated with great outdoor spaces. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need or want. The house was very convenient to everything, nothing was more than a 5 minute walk. We had no reason to leave once we got there, it was perfect! The owners were delightful! We are looking forward to returning when we can!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family, me and three boys, stayed at this house the week before school went back in August and had the most relaxing, amazing time! The house is beautiful and truly is right close to everything...walk to beach was literally a couple of minutes walk. Micky was so sweet and helpful for my visit and I would stay here again, over and over! One of my favorite parts was how well stocked the kitchen was. I like to cook while I am there and she had everything I could ever need to cook with...it was awesome! Thank you so much Micky for allowing us to use your beautiful house in Ocean Lakes...it was PERFECT!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We like to make sure everyone is comfortable. We also vacation in our beach house with our family and will experience everything that our guest do. Yes the kitchen is well stock many of our guest love to cook or grill - no one wants to leave the beach! Yes the beach is a short walk as well as the indoor, outdoor pool and recreation hall as well as the arcade. Kids and parents love that!

I stayed at this property the first week of June. This property is in the middle of everything but out of the line of fire of some of the noise and confusion that you might experience in some areas of Ocean Lakes. Everything was just a short walk away. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this spectacular home. The large deck was simply alluring. In the evening, my 16 year old son had a great time sitting and talking with some of friends underneath the deck while my 20 year old daughter and I had some private girl time top side. I loved this home because everyone could have their own space. The master was on the main, where I stayed and the children were upstairs. Every bedroom had its own T.V. I used the grill underneath the deck one night which was so much fun to cook out just like home. I enjoyed the home so much, I ended up doing more relaxing and spent less money on the tourist trap stuff. It is convenient to the ocean, pool, lake, shops and places to eat. Why leave? We did go eat crab leggs a couple of night that was right across the street; Broadway at the Beach for shopping; the Pirate Voyge is a must see. Micky and her husband Randy were wonderful to deal with. They gave me all the information I needed and answered all questions that I had regarding my stay as well as tried to help me find something I was looking for. The home was clean, comfortable with a great location. I would suggest this home to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: We have moved to Myrtle Beach this year (2011) and are very excited to be living here! Since 1992 we have owned various houses and have vacationed in Ocean Lakes. Our 2 children are grown now but still love coming to Ocean Lakes. I am retired from Albany County (NY) Health Department, my husband is still working.
Why the Owner Chose Section D:
We love the beach! We can walk to the beach, pools, basketball court (were the kids hand out) and rec hall. The kids can ride their bikes all around the park and the park has security. Many of our family and friends have vacationed here together and have always had a great time!

If it is a little windy at the beach you can enjoy the decks, there is always a deck in the sun! We have met many people while vacationing and have made some great friends.
