  I cannot say enough about Casa La Rafaella and its staff. The property is gorgeous, the amenities are fantastic, and the staff is incredible. From the moment we arrived, we knew our vacation would be an unforgettable one...and it will truly go down as one of our favs! Angel and his team were always there to answer questions about the house and activities around the area. AND the FOOD! We actually did not leave the house at all to eat because Angel's meals were so DELICIOUS... From ceviche to ribeye steak... He could do no wrong. If you are looking to kick your feet up, relax, and sip on margaritas, then this is it! (and even if you're the kind of person that needs to stay in touch with reality and check in on work every once in while) This is it. The house has hi speed wifi and even a gym! We can't wait to go back!

  The house and staff are wonderful. Angel and his family made our stay very enjoyable. Paulina fell short in fufilling our expectations. She was to make reservations for our family at New Years and we arrived at the restaurant to find that we did not have a reservation. Angel took care of it, though, and our family had a memorable New Year's dinner. I will say that the food we had at one of the best restaurants in Manzanillo could not compare to the meals prepared by Angel!! Our family commented several times during our week long stay that we would love to visit the house again but when we left the house for excursions, we were disappointed. If you are going to Manzanillo to relax, you will enjoy the trip. If you like to do lots of exploring and sight seeing, you may want to choose another destination or bring double the money you would expect to spend. When people find out where you are staying, the cost of everything goes up! We splurged on this house and thought that we were going to do the same kinds of excursions that we have done in the many places we have visited. The diving was limited due to the high season and we couldn't arrange a time. The owner of Scuba Shack was very rude. We did go on a boat for 4 hours that we paid a ridiculous amount of money for and saw whales and dolphins.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Hi Nelly A short note to tell you that we had a wonderful time at La Rafaella. Charo is an amazing chef, Patricia and Adrian were a delight. Every day was sunny and the time went by too quickly. All was as you informed us and even better. The little children loved all the bananas and they were very eager to go to the kitchen and ask fore one! Charo made them feel very welcome and Adrian was so good with little Jack. Thank you from the Lenmark's, Tanghe's and Reller's

  We have had the pleasure of renting the villa two times, once with our kids and grandkids and the other time with our golf friends. Both times were absolutely incredible. The moment we arrived we knew we were in Paradise. The villa itself is breathtaking, the views of Manzanillo Bay from the pool and yelapa can not be described, we felt as if were in a postcard. All the amenities of the villa are first class, however with that being said, the topper for us was Charo and her family, she is the main caretaker and an excellent cook, she not only cooks for you but makes you feel so welcome and loved. The service from everyone is outstanding. My dealings with Nelly have all been good and she delivers everything that is promised, I was a little nervous booking an expensive vacation on line, but my experience was problem free, I can't say enough abouh both of our vacations, I know we will go back again.

Charo, Patricia, Adrian, Hector and Francia were all delightful and could not have been more helpful. The food was all excellent, we especially enjoyed allowing each couple to make choices and surpirse everyone! My husband is already planning our next trip! Thank you for all your assitance. Melanie
