The house and staff are wonderful. Angel and his family made our stay very enjoyable. Paulina fell short in fufilling our expectations. She was to make reservations for our family at New Years and we arrived at the restaurant to find that we did not have a reservation. Angel took care of it, though, and our family had a memorable New Year's dinner. I will say that the food we had at one of the best restaurants in Manzanillo could not compare to the meals prepared by Angel!! Our family commented several times during our week long stay that we would love to visit the house again but when we left the house for excursions, we were disappointed. If you are going to Manzanillo to relax, you will enjoy the trip. If you like to do lots of exploring and sight seeing, you may want to choose another destination or bring double the money you would expect to spend. When people find out where you are staying, the cost of everything goes up! We splurged on this house and thought that we were going to do the same kinds of excursions that we have done in the many places we have visited. The diving was limited due to the high season and we couldn't arrange a time. The owner of Scuba Shack was very rude. We did go on a boat for 4 hours that we paid a ridiculous amount of money for and saw whales and dolphins.

We spent one week at Casa LaRafaella and it was the trip of a lifetime. Nelly arranged every aspect of the trip from the moment we landed. The food and service provided by Angelo and his family were top notch. The house is an amazing place, we will definitely be going back.

Hi Nelly A short note to tell you that we had a wonderful time at La Rafaella. Charo is an amazing chef, Patricia and Adrian were a delight. Every day was sunny and the time went by too quickly. All was as you informed us and even better. The little children loved all the bananas and they were very eager to go to the kitchen and ask fore one! Charo made them feel very welcome and Adrian was so good with little Jack. Thank you from the Lenmark's, Tanghe's and Reller's

We have had the pleasure of renting the villa two times, once with our kids and grandkids and the other time with our golf friends. Both times were absolutely incredible. The moment we arrived we knew we were in Paradise. The villa itself is breathtaking, the views of Manzanillo Bay from the pool and yelapa can not be described, we felt as if were in a postcard. All the amenities of the villa are first class, however with that being said, the topper for us was Charo and her family, she is the main caretaker and an excellent cook, she not only cooks for you but makes you feel so welcome and loved. The service from everyone is outstanding. My dealings with Nelly have all been good and she delivers everything that is promised, I was a little nervous booking an expensive vacation on line, but my experience was problem free, I can't say enough abouh both of our vacations, I know we will go back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa with Charo and her family. We would stay there anytime over a five star hotel, it was fabulous! The dates of Dec. 27th to Jan. 2nd were already booked, so we are looking for another wonderful place. Our desire is another beautiful location with the same amount of people and sleeping needs. We also like to go to areas where there is good deep sea fishing available, if yo have any ideas we would appreciate yor input. Thank you. DeAnn

Dear Nelly We are back at home trying to get used to our nomal everyday lives, recalling the wonderful time we had at Casa Rafaella. As you correctly forecast, we loved the villa and were entranced by Charo, Jorge, Marlena and Estela, who fed us like fighting cocks and looked after us as though we were their children!
