Susi's Beach house is "Old Florida stlye living at it's best". The house has been completely remodeled and is colorful and gives the feeling of beach house living
The house has 2 bedrooms, with king size beds,a huge living room and a very large den with beds that sleep an additional 5 people. A total of 9 can sleep at the house. A video of the house is available at susisbeachhouse dot com.
Included in the house rental package is unlimited free access to all of the facilities at the North Captiva Pool and Tennis club, which includes 2 swimming pools (Olympic size heated and cooled + lap size heated) and a jacuzzi. The brick paved pool area is over 14,000 square feet, with over 80 chaise lounges, plus a Spa facility with steam room, sauna, air conditioned changing rooms and lockers. For the active type, the private Club also has two lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, a fitness room, basketball court. You can then relax with your favorite cocktail at Hidden Cove Pool Bar, where a pool side lunch is also available. Kayaks are available at the private Club. There are also four restaurants on the island: The Boat House, Mango's Island Grill, Barnacle Phil's, and the Safety Harbor Pool Restaurant.
The house is built on a large private lot with a large deck with table and chairs.
Susi's Beach House is located one house from the beach and a three minute walk to the beach access. Rental includes high speed wireless broadband Internet, use of an electric golf cart for Island transportation.

Susi's Beach House is just what we were looking for, old time Florida beach cottage feel with all the necessities and amenities. The cottage has a large comfortable living space, open airy, and great natural lighting. A short walk along a path through the back yard leads to the beautiful gulf side beach and the incredible sunsets. The beaches of North Captiva are amazing, especially along the state preserve where there's a virtual forest of drift wood. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary cookware for in house meals, the dining table would accommodate 8 guests comfortably. The golf cart provides easy transportation to the club and it's amenities as well as the restaurants and the rest of the island. Exploring the island's many beaches and pathways on foot was well worth the time. Tom, the local property manager for Susi, met us at the ferry landing and made sure we were settled in and comfortable with the house and the basics of the island. He is very knowledgable about the island and was a great resource for us. Overall, we can honestly recommend Susi's Beach House for a great destination and stay on North Captiva!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our stay at Susie's Beach house was one of the best rental experiences we've had in our 12 years of coming to NCap. Beachy, comfy, roomy and well kept. Our teens had a blast, the house having easy access to Beach and the North Captiva Island Club. Ideal location. Marc and Susie are delightful and very accommodating. We've never stayed in the same house twice, but I will now!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Three friends and I rented HH for my 40th b-day and to have some quality girl time. The house is located very convenient to the beach.The house was clean and comfortable and spacious enough for four women to get ready in! A very good value as well compared to some of the other options we researched. We would definately stay there again......Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Susie's Beach house is the perfect vacation, relaxing experience. The house is very close to the beach. The living room is very large and accomodating. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The price was the best part. I found this to be the best deal on the island! Also an affordable place to stay while shopping for real estate on the island! My wife and I just spent a wonderful week at Susi's Beach House. It's perfectly clean, well maintained, quite spacious, and a two-minute walk from the beach. What more could a person want? Beyond this, Marc and Susi are perfect hosts, attentive, friendly, and full of information. They made our vacation a memorable one. I'd recommend Susi's Beach House to anyone wanting to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was simply a pleasure!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
