  We are true lovers of Bali for years, and could not dream of a better villa to spend our Christmas vacation. Puri Dana Villa is even better than the eye catching advertizing on internet.The accomodation is ideal for our family of three couples and 5 children from the age of 3 until 14. The pure Balinese architecture combines traditional materials and excellent renovation, surrounded by a lush Balinese garden. Beyond our expectation was the staff of 6 who did take care of us, with a special mention to our great cook, preparing every delicious Indonesian, Thai or Vietnamese meals that we ordered. Puri Dana is just meters aways from the beach in the most attractive Semyniak area. Fine dining, outstanding lounge bars and best spots are just walking distance. And we emphasize on the discreet but always useful advice provided by Maria. She owns this beautiful house and has plenty of good addresses to recommend, may plan excursions to Ubud and other touristic spots, and even propose some pure Balinese ceremonies to attend as we did and enjoyed. We spent 5 stars vacation in Puri Dana

  I stayed at this villa with a group of my friends while on break from university and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. Nikko and his staff certainly spoiled us and made sure that our time in Bali was spent taking in all that the island had to offer, from excursions to local cuisine, going above and beyond anything we had anticipated. The rooms were always well kept and we loved that fresh, purifed water was placed throughout the house and refilled regularly. The pool was stunning and we spent every night lounging around, feeling like royalty. Nikko even had his staff run out and get us more beer when we ran out one evening, which was incredibly convenient. The area also felt very safe and there were resorts all around us where we could go for dinner, drinks, and beach time. If I returned to Bali, I would definitely stay here again!

  Puri Dana....it was wonderful! the images give you a true picture of what to expect as you walk through the door...but what makes this truely a magical place to call home for any number of days(we stayed 10) is the 5 wonderful women who insure your stay is one big dream. They catered to our every need and graciously went beyond to help us ensure our holiday was relaxing. The food was amazing and I would recommend you eat at home rather then wonder away. We chose to go to a top rated restaurant for a celebration and sadly should have chosen to have our wonderful ladies cook it for us......certainly would have made for a better evening. Puri Dana is top of my list for my future visits to Bali....make it yours you will not be disappointed!

  The accommodation was luxurious, the staff courteous and helpful and the location was fantastic. Ten of us stayed here and none of us wanted to leave. We really enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation about recommending the house.

  Well, a group of 10 of us limped into the Bali airport after 3 long flights from Canada. We were weary, hungry, hot and technologically crippled. Thankfully there were 2 air conditioned vans awaiting our arrival and we were quickly wisked off to our oasis of Puri Dana for the next 3 days, where all our needs were tended to: HOT AND TIRED: 5 lovely and blessedly air conditioned bedrooms - all with en suites and beautiful ammenities. Exactly as described on the web site. The pool (lovely temperature) and outdoor bale and sitting areas were also oh, so relaxing. HUNGRY: A most delicious and complimentary Indonesian banquet was awaiting us for our first dinner at the villa. Followed every morning with a delightful breakfast and further dinners on request (very reasonable...the price of groceries, and gas). TECHNOLOGY: The wifi worked great. Nikko was infinitely patient at arranging everyone's SIM card and making ongoing arrangements for all our unique technology to work. OTHER: All the staff were wonderful and accomodating. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to overcome our jet lag and have a few days to acclimatize to this beautiful country, before we continued on with our adventures. Nikko and his staff made us all feel welcome and cared for. There would be nothing better for a large group than to stay in this little slice of heaven. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU TERIMA KASIH

  We stayed at the lovely Puri Dana for 5 days together as a family of 8. The rooms were massive, beautifuly decorated (as was the entire villa) cool and comfortable with nightly turn-down service. A shout out to wonderful staff! They prepared the best authentic meals we had in our entire 17 days in Bali. So fresh and delicious!! Don't even bother eating out! Maria, the owner, was helpful and available but not at all intrusive, allowing us the feeling that we truly had the place to ourselves. Recommend the in-house massages in the bale outside by the pool. Note that the fan is super noisy for indoor massages in the massage room. The photos are 100% accurate and the property is beautifuly and meticulously maintained with plenty of comfy, pillowed seating areas. Unfortunately, while we were there, something strange happened to the crystal clear turquoise pool that we enjoyed for the first 2 days and by the end of our stay, it was pretty murky but perhaps it was from the periodic torrential downpours that we experienced (great time for spa treatments!).during our visit. Recommend the mani/pedis and cream baths at Bodyworks Spa just around the corner! And one final thank you to Made, our driver! Best driver in Bali! Highly recommend Puri Dana as an unforgettable stay. Soooo relaxing and rejuvenating!

  What a fantastic place, just loved it, perfect in everyway. Staff are beautiful and the food prepared by the staff was amazing, we found ourselves eating at the villa more so than going out to restaurants. Great location with everything within a short walking distance. The place is ideal for large groups and families. Highly recommend Puri Dana. Will certainly go back again.

  I stayed at Puri Dana for a couple of days in January of 2011. Puri Dana is a beautiful property operated by very friendly staff. Maria and Nikko were great to deal with and always available. If you like boutique style accommodations or something that is not the like the typical hotel but still provides quality, service, style and luxury this is the place to stay at. The location is fantastic and you will be thoroughly satisfied.

  It was my first trip to Bali and staying at Puri Dana made it such a memorable stay! It's an excellent villa with plenty of room for everyone. Nikko and Maria are a class act and make all guests feel welcome and treat them like family. The villa is spacious and has every amenity I could think of, but the true value is the local Bali knowledge that Nikko and Maria bring to the table. They had great recommendations and I can't emphasize enough that they really made the trip so easy to plan and fun. I can't wait to return!
