  Nona's Nest is everything you would want for a vacation. A beautiful home, with a beautiful, private and quiet setting. A lake, the beach, a private pool, a hot tub - what more could you ask for. Amenities abound. The house was very well maintained - a home away from home. We loved everything about the home - as well as Paramount Destinations. Everyone at the agency was so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure not having to check in at the office - just being able to go right to the house was awesome. Our four children had a wonderful time fishing in the lake and in the ocean. The beach really is only a five minute walk from the house. The house is close to many places. Nona's Nest is definitely the perfect family retreat. My only dissapointment was that we didn't stay for two weeks. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.

  Our family has been vacationing once a year (sometimes twice) in the coralla area for 16 years now. We have had the pleasure of staying in 17 different houses. The adults all seemed to agree that this house was one of the best. Location was perfect, and we all felt its setting was very private. The kitchen was one of the most well equipped we've had. We are seriously considering renting this home again. Paramount has the the right idea when it comes to check-in!

  The house was great! New and very clean! The location was great. Close to the beach, and right next to the lake. The kitchen was nice and open, bedrooms were all very nice. Great master bathroom! Small pool, but very nice. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back!

  Overall our vacation was very enjoyable. Paramount made everything easy before and during our stay. We loved not having to check in at the office and the personal touch of maintenance's visit that Sunday was a pleasant surprise. The property was quiet and peaceful. The lake was a great view and my dad even cast a line or two. The kids enjoyed seeing the turtles. There was a nice balance of nature. The house was beautiful and had wonderful upgrades and decor. Everything you could imagine needing was there. We had five couples and the bedrooms were well-balanced so no one felt slighted. Everything except major restaurants was within 10 minutes of the house and being right at the 4x4 beach was awesome. Had we realized how easy it was to access, we would have spent our beach day there. We did miss having an elevator as the stair walking becomes a bit much for the older ones and when moving in and out. The only other negative is that the grill is small and not suited for real grilling (such as grilling ribs which require a top) which we like to do. Be prepared for the traffic during peak season as it is 20 miles up a two-lane road. We would definitely consider this home for renting in the future.

  Everything was very nice. It was a very comfortable home and had a lot more in the kitchen then we expected. The only problem that we had was that the TV in the living room would not work and the pool motor seemed quite loud, but when I called Paramount to report these problems, they sent someone out within the day to get everything fixed. The people they sent were very pleasant and fixed everything immediately. Paramount was very good to work with, very helpful when I called with questions about things in the area and they were all very pleasant. Had a very nice family vacation.....Thank you !!!!!!

  We loved Nona's Nest! Even though it was on the soundside, the walk to the beach was only 5 minutes. Being on the lake, we had a nightly soundtrack from the wildlife and saw plenty of turtles and 2 water snakes. The neighborhood is quiet and we loved the beach.

  Lake a Bonus...Our families were delighted with the spaces, the cleanliness, the furnishings and the location. I mention the lake because it was a bonus from other houses we have rented. We had four children 12 and under and it was their first experience fishing and they loved it.<br/>The pool was a good size for two people or a volley ball game. Our only complaint was the outdoor shower in the pool area did not have enough pressure to take a shower. All said they would return. <br/><br/>The information given to us by the maqnagement company was prompt and accurate. They even refunded a current tax cut and replaced a blender canister that we broke.<br/>We have one correction for the book of general information on the house and area. The book said that it would take 90 minutes to get to "The Lost Colony" theater. It only took us 45 minutes. We could have stopped for dinner at the Collington Cafe, had we known we would have time.<br/><br/>Great overall experience!

  Excellent Service, Well Maintained Home.We loved everything about the home as well as the agency. Wish it was closer to TimBuckII, but just enjoyed the special touches of the owners. Thanks for the high end dinner service, the laundry basket and the pool toys. Everyone loved the bedding and the pillows, it made getting an early start hard! We caught an eel and a crab in the lake as well as many fish! Who knew?

  Fun place for Families...Nona's Nest is in our fav area of OBX because it is such a quiet street. Loved being able to fish and the beach access is so easy. Screened porch is great for breakfast. Plenty of fridge space too.
