My wife and I come down at least once a year and have enjoyed all of our stays since 2006. The house is very comfortable, cozy, clean and spacious; especially for our large family. The heated pool is just what the doctor ordered for those cool sunny days. This area has plenty of great restaurants for dining but we sometimes elect to grab some fresh seafood from local grocer and grill out by the pool while the kids swim and have a great time. Not to mention the beach is just a hop skip and jump away down the street to catch the breathe taking sunsets. After a long day at the beach and pool it so nice to lounge around the living room and watch a great movie on the big screen TV with surround sound, what a way to finish off a day. We have recommended to several friends who have enoughed their stay as well. The owner is very responsive and has been very accomodating to us and we are looking forward to our next trip very soon to this lovely place we call "Home away from Home"Did you find this review helpful? What can I say!? This bungalow is serene, cool, comfortable and extremely clean! The owners have made it very inviting with the wonderful colors, great wood floors and even put some art from local artist on the walls. Seagrove restaurants are nearby and the whole area of Seagrove is inviting. Grocery stores are close if you choose to use. I have stayed at this bungalow for three years and love it. The clean swimming pool is a nice ammenity The owners are extremely accomodating in answering questions about the home and the price can't be beat! We like the quiet neighborhood and the nearby beach access. The home is very convenient for large families or friends as each floor has its own kitchen. I especially like that. This is my favorite choice for the beach and I hope to return very soon to this lovely bungalow in Seagrove!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The minute we pulled up to this house, we knew our vacation had officially begun. It is as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside; it is pristine, comfortable, and more than exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is fully stocked and we even changed plans our first evening from dining out to cooking in so we could take advantage of our incredible accommodations. We took full advantage of the amazing pool and everyone had a spacious, comfortable room to themselves. The friends we vacationed with loved the fact that the downstairs is like a completely separate suite, complete with kitchenette. The street is cozy and quiet while still being conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. These owners have not left out a thing when it comes to making your stay completely happy and relaxed. I have and will continue to recommend this rental to anyone, and cannot wait until our next visit!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

The listing information was consistant with the actual property. The house was clean and accomodating. The owner addressed all questions in a timely manner. Very detailed and thorough. We look forward to coming back again next year. We enjoyed the heated pool, close proximity to boardwalk beach access, and walking to Seaside. We rode bicycles through Seaside and Watercolor botanical garden one morning. It was amazing.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

My husband said my initial review was too brutal, so I will just say the house was dirty. The decor is old and outdated. The basement smelled musty. The owner did offer to send cleaning crew back out. The pool is excellent. I feel I extremely overpaid for my stay. Would not stay here again, and would not suggest that my family and friends do either.Owner response: When this renter call about the condition of our home, she said it was dirty. Our cleaning service had just finished cleaning. Her statement: "I asked my husband what he wanted to do and he said it was ok with him. He wasn't the germaphobic I was." I offered to have the cleaning service come back and clean anything she thought needed to be cleaned, but she turned that down. I offered to pay for any cleaning supplies she purchased. The home was remodeled last year: painted inside and out including new flooring. The home has cable with a new 50 inch HDTV and WiFi. She was given a 10% rental discount and we heated the pool for only the cost of the gas. After her departure we sent her $25 for any cleaning supplies she may have purchased even though she didn't ask for it, but then emailed and complained that $25 didn't cover the time she had spent. She was the only renter with a complaint. We strive to provide our renters with a home that will provide a quality vacation.

My family and I had a WONDERFUL time! I had all of the comforts of home in a relaxed setting: nearby grocery store (wish I had a Publix in my hometown), beautiful (not jam-packed) beach, pool (for when this diva-girl wanted to just hang out and lounge), and on and on. A major plus was having a washer/dryer. Okay, who wants to do laundry on vacation, right? But, I'm writing this now that we just got home and loving that I'm relaxing instead of washing clothes - yay! And eating out is fun, but it gets old after a while. It was great to have the choice of eating in or going out. (We enjoyed Bud & Alley's, btw.) Because the house is surrounded by woods, it was nice and quiet, and I liked the peace. I'm a stress-case on a good day anyway, and I was able to feel rested and recharged. Maybe it's a girl thing, but even the colors in the house were soothing: beachy yet tasteful and not tacky. (I couldn't help feeling happy and calm just looking at the blue color in the master bedroom.) Plenty of bath towels! Basic pool toys provided, and we took the buckets to the beach for sandcastles. The town of Seagrove itself isn't overly commercialized, either. Everyone I encountered was super friendly and seemed to go out of their way for me (and I'm just an average mom, not some flashy supermodel). Instructions for the tv/audio systems are posted (yay, cuz I'm not techy and it was step-by-step), and my husband made use of the wireless internet with no problems. We had a 15+ hour drive, and it was nice to walk into a clean house and unwind from the drive. My only regret is having to leave! Thank you for a great time and fun memories!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We had a great time in your lovely home! The whole family rode our bikes back thru the sandy trails as well as down the bike path..one day we logged 20 miles! The pool was perfect to come back to after that trip! We drove the kids jeeps down so it was wonderful that we had covered parking. I will certainly recommend you to my friends and family. Once again, thank you for being so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves and wish we could have stayed longer.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

Just wanted t let you know that the house looks beautiful! From the colors of the paint, to the new washer (something a mom can love), to the carpet upstairs and the tile downstairs, and the fridge and so much more, it is all gorgeous. Thank you for letting us stay there again. We all had a wonderful time, and one of our boys said, "This was the best year yet!" Quite a compliment from a 16-year-old!Did you find this review helpful?
