  My husband and I stayed at this condo rental in early April. We had an amazing time. The condo is even better than it looks in the pictures. It is very clean and well appointed with amazing views. The owners have provided everything you will need for your vacation stay. Kapalua is an amazing place, beautiful landscaping and vistas. Best place to stay on Maui as far as we are concerned. The upstairs bedroom in this condo is very spacious and nicely layed out and furnished. Living room is very comfortable, breakfast on the lani was a real treat. We hope to return again. Steve and Lori were a pleasure to do business with.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We had stayed at Steve and Lori's villa a few years ago, but had lost touch with them. We were so glad to find their villa again and to find that it was just as great as we remembered. We especially liked the peaceful location, close enough to restaurants and the beach and yet when you go back to the villa it is like being a million miles from everything. The villa was spotless when we arrived and had all the kitchen utensils and gadgets anyone could ever need. The lanai just can't be beat because it can be used just about all day and the sun is not overwelming. ( I burn very easily!). The lanai is also a great place to watch the comings and goings of the birds (we got a kick out of Mrs. Duck and her two buddies) . All the people you come in contact with at the Villas are always very pleasant and make you feel welcome. Lori and Steve were very attentive to any questions we had and came back to us immediately from when we first contacted them until we left. They were the perfect hosts and we can not wait to return to their lovely villa. Mahalo

  My wife and I spent 5 weeks in this lovely villa. We have stayed in four other Kapalua Golf Villas over the years and found this to be our favorite. Very spacious, great location, and felt like home. As far as I am concerned Kapalua is the best area to stay on Maui and the view of the Bay Course and Lanai & Molokai in the distance from our lanai was a great way to start and end each day. The location of this villa provided extra privacy, and the top floor master suite provided personal privacy when guests visited. Great location for walks and golf. Photos provide accurate representation of the furniture and decor. No issues with cleanliness and I am a neat-freak. Our favorite activity was walking on the Kapalua Resort "trails'", especially from Kapalua Bay through the Ritz Carlton resort. For a special night out, sunset reservations at Merriman's Restaurant overlooking Kapalua Bay can't be beat. We enjoyed another great meal on New Year's Eve. A couple of recommendations: It would be nice to have a couple of snorkel and fins available (other units I have rented on Maui and Kauai have provided them) to avoid the hassle of renting and returning. I would also upgrade the bedding, especially the sheets and pillowcases (they seemed a bit light in the thread-count and quality). Overall, I would highly recommend renting this unit (best suited for a couple) and plan on renting again in the future.

  What a wonderful Christmas week in Kapalua with families members also staying at the golf villas. We had perfect weather and excellent accommodation . As first time users with VRBO we based our villa selection on guest reviews and owner description, photos and video. The moment we stepped into the front entrance, we knew we had made a great choice. The villa was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, lovely decor, and well equipped. The location was great......end unit with large lanai which provided a great view of the golf course and surrounding area. Besides beach life we spent much of our time in the activities we enjoy..... Hiking and Tennis. The Tennis facilities were great and the staff were very accommodating. Thank-you Laurie and Steve for letting us stay at your beautiful villa. Helen and Tak Toronto, Canada

  We had an amazing trip, just what we needed. Along with the beautiful west maui beaches and delicious seafood cuisine your place was our home away from home. From the initial interest to first contact with Steve was warm, friendly and informative. The attention to detail from getting the appropriate paperwork to making it official to our first steps into the villa was a smooth experience. Lori and Steve are truly sharing a piece of their passion and love for the island with the guests. From the first look over the lanai we knew this was goin to be something special. The villa was immaculate, loaded with everything you can think of at our disposal from beach chairs to an ice cream scoop.The location was perfect for what we were looking for... laid back and less crowds but within driving distance to the activities and attractions. Lori's restaurant recommendations were right on and thoroughly enjoyed several times. We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai and I got entertainment watching the many golf temperaments taking their second shot off the tenth tee. It was a daily routine to supplied beach chairs and cooler to relax on kapalua and dt fleming. Meals from pineapple grill, maui tacos and hula grill were enjoyable. We will be back and this time I want to share the wonderful experience with my two boys. True Maui Hospitality. Mahalo.

  As a former resident of Maui, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying in this golf villa with its magnificent views of the golf course and the ocean. This unit has been very nicely upgraded and is conveniently located to the Kapalua tennis facilities and the so relaxing beach at Napili Bay. Great restaurants are only minutes away and if you are a golfer, you have simply arrived in paradise.

  You can tell from the photos and other reviews on this page that Lori and Steve are sharing a personal piece of paradise with those of us lucky enough to find our way to Kapalua. The condo is exactly as pictured, conveniently located within the Golf Villas, a wonderful corner unit with lots of views and at the same time a feeling of privacy. Lori and Steve were great hosts, ready and willing to answer any and all questions. Their condo is stocked with everything you could need for the week, including beach chairs and towels. Breakfast on the lanai is a treat for us desert dwellers. The Pineapple Grill just down the hill never disappoints. Great snorkeling on the norths side of Kapalua Bay (look for turtles!). Can't go wrong choosing Kapalua or this villa!

  I absolutely loved this golf villa for several reasons: * Convenience: The villa is walking distance to great restaurants, beaches, convenience stores, etc. Kapalua is a great area. It's not as crowded, but boosts beautiful beaches and views. * Cleanliness: When you first walk into the place, you immediately notice how immaculate it is. Yes, you have to pay a cleaning fee but trust me, it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. Who wants to walk into a dirty villa on the first day of their vacation?? * The little things: The little things count! We were very impressed by the amenities provided and the overall furnishing of the place. There are tons of spices for you to use in the kitchen, as well as beach chairs, beach towels, detergent, shampoo, soap, maps, phones, TVs, etc. * Great owners: Steve and Lori are awesome to work with. They're super responsive to all your questions. And, we received our security deposit back in a very timely manner. The whole process was very transparent and easy. * Views: There's a lanai on the main floor that overlooks the golf course and it has a distant ocean view. It's peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. There's nothing better than sitting outside with a bottle of wine while enjoying the scenary. I could probably go on and on, but you get the point. It's an awesome place. Steve and Lori - Thanks so much for everything. You will definitely be hearing from us if we ever re-visit the west side of Maui.

  We stayed two weeks at this lovely villa and enjoyed every minute. The villa is as immaculate as depicted in the photos - beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. We could not think of one thing to improve our stay! The location is very peaceful and the views of the sunset from the lanai were spectacular. The Kapalua property was very well-kept - perfect for walking along the trails, playing golf and taking the convenient shuttle to the hotel's spa or pool. We would not hesitate in recommending this property and the owners were a delight to deal with.

  Unless you want a property that is right on the beach, this well maintained and tranquil property is a great place to stay. The two level villa is the very spacious and is right next to one of the fairways of this beautiful golf course with a view of the ocean in the distance. The kitchen is well equipped for us to cook some meals during our stay. The owner Steve is always available to answer any questions I have and provide recommendations. Our flight arrived late and I forgot to copy down my code for the villa but Steve was able to provide the code in the middle of the night so we can get in the door for a much needed rest! The nearby Kapalua beach (about a 15 minute walk) is a good place to snorkel and watch the gorgeous Hawaiian sunset. The beach walk is good for a scenic stroll and provide access to other nearby beaches as well. The best snorkelling spot we found is close to the Gazebo restaurant (which Steve recommended) where we saw some sea turtles and many colourful fish. The Gazebo is a great place to have breakfast and lunch and is reasonably priced. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Lahaina south of the resort in the evening where there are many small shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again as there are many beautiful places to be explored and enjoyed in Maui.
