Our stay at Casa Canela was wonderful. Sheri and John were extremely helpful not only with the accommodations but with navigating Mexico as well. We would recommend Casa Canela with high regards.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners.

Comfortable, affordable. John & Sharon are very helpful & friendly. Great location. Very close to beach and a great restaurant called Roberto's. Private quiet garden.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

Shari and John are really wonderful hosts and you can really see how much care they put in their property. I was looking for an affordable option with quick access to the beach and with good kitchen amenities and we not only got this but a really quaint and aesthetically pleasing home. Troncones and the surrounding areas are such a gem and the Casa Canela is the best springboard to explore it all.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We traveled around in Mexico for a couple weeks and this was our favorite place! We even cut a trip inland short so we could come back and finish our vacation here. Troncones is a beautiful beach town great for relaxing and enjoying the ocean. Casa Canela was everything we were looking for - comfort, privacy, kitchen for self-sufficiency, and a beautiful serene location. While this location is not on the beach, access is close and easy (right across the street) and the patio provided a great spot to enjoy the outdoors for meals and reading time in the hammock. The hosts (John, Shari, and Ramona) were amazing - hospitable and helpful. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to return some day ourselves.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.
