The title says it all. Close to skiing, spacious condo, good BBQ spot down the street, partial lake views - what more would you want?Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent Labor Day week at the condo and had a great time. The condo was extremely clean, which is so important to us, and it was very comfortable. It was well equipped and convenient to so many of the activities in the Lake Tahoe area. We loved being able to hike right in the area, and having a full kitchen and grill made vacation even more relaxing so we could stay on top of the mountain after an exhausting day of hiking. Steve was great to work with and very helpful with providing information and recommendations. We would love to stay here again! The only thing to be aware of is that there are lots of stairs to get up to the condo. It wasn't a problem for us, but it could be for someone with mobility problems. We loved how relaxing the condo was and enjoyed the quiet! Our family spent the week at this condo. We sincerely enjoyed the comforts and convenience this condo has to offer. Great location and private. The view is fantastic and there seems to always be a nice cool breeze. It is just as described on the web page and is well-maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked. The washer and dryer work great. We will be checking availability next year. We had a great time at this cabin. It is in a beautiful setting near the Heavenly Nevada lifts. There are gorgeous lake and sunset views right from the deck. It is in a nice development but you really feel much closer to the outdoors than you would by all the casinos in town. It's got the best of both worlds, it's outside of town and all the tourists and party people, but it's also conveniently located near a convenient store (only about 1/2 mile) and a pub too. We hiked on the Tahoe Rim Trail which is also right by the cabin. You are right on the rim, basically on the top of a beautiful ridge, it drops steep down to the Carson Valley on one side and down to the Lake on the other, really pretty. And there is a more upscale, lodge type restaurant with a pretty bar at the Ridge Resort too (same development, too far to walk but there is a shuttle stop right by the cabin), which I visited on another trip but didn't have time on this trip. Didn't even have enough time for the pool and hot tub! There is something for everyone here, enjoy it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend and it was wonderful! The condo is incredibly clean, comfortable and well stocked with all ammenites you could want (including Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washer/dryer, flat screen TVs and very comfy couches and beds). The views from the deck are beautiful and the location can't be beat. Very close to several beaches, great hiking spots and the casinos. There is even a shuttle that will take you down to the casinos for just $2/person. The pool and spa are just across the street and the spa was wonderful after a long day of taking in all the sights around the lake. This place is a great value and I highly recommend it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Came in February to ski Heavenly with our family of 4, and found this to be the perfect upscale cabin accomodation and roomy, too. Everything as promoted and loved our stay! Little bit of a climb takes you up in the trees, but the amazing views to Lake Tahoe and beyond are so worth it. Very comfortable, and nice finishes - better than the photos indicate. Steve, the owner, was available and kind to answer any questions and make recommendations. We stayed at Steve's condo for a month in Jan / Feb 2012. It was perfect for our needs; well appointed, exactly as Steve described it and a fantastic base for our ski vacation. The free shuttle to Heavenly stopped on the street right outside, so we could be on the lift 5 -10 mins after leaving. And by finishing at Boulder Lodge we could be back home again 10-15 mins after finishing for the day. Free daytime bus to and from downtown South Tahoe as well. Great location, a bit more secluded than some of the others we'd looked at, with a nice outlook through the forest and west over the lake. It was very spacious and warm, with the upstairs being a great drying space (there were only two of us). Good Wifi, TVs in the lounge and bedrooms and even some DVDs of NCIS (we watched them all!) Kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities all good and Steve even provided a hairdryer when asked (traveling internationally meant we had to travel a bit light). Steve was very professional in all our dealings with him and promptly refunded our security deposit after our stay. I'd unreservedly recommend this place to anyone wanting an affordable, comfortable, well-appointed place conveniently close to Heavenly. We hope to come back someday; a pity it's so far from New Zealand!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently stayed here with our friends and it was wonderful! The condo was clean and spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. It also had a washer and dryer, which was key when travelling with 3 kids under the age of 5. It was a great location, close to hiking trails and some of the Heavenly ski runs (depending on the season). There was also access to a pool and spa, which was a hit with the kids. I highly recommend staying there. It is a great price for a wonderful condo and view!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is an excellent value. The location is great, very close to the mountain with fantastic views. Close proximity to skiing and the lake, within walking distance of the community pool. Plenty of room for our group (we had 8 people). The condo is simple and has just what you need. We stayed there in the summer and it was not too hot, the place cools off nicely in the evening with all the windows open. We needed a place to stay for skiing over spring break and found this deal. It was perfect. Room for everyone, kitchen for cooking and a great living room for relaxing. We vacation in Tahoe at least once a year and this is an incredible value. It's big, airy, and CLEAN. Everything has obviously just been refurbished. It's at the top of Kingbury Grade with a beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. It's close for skiing and about a 10 minute drive to Round Hill beach. I have already recommended this to several of my friends, and we plan on returning there soon.
