  Found this apartment to have everything you need for your Athens stay. The apartment is located close to the metro and the local restaurants. The wifi is very fast and the owner will provide you will a wealth of knowledge so you can plan your trip properly. We really enjoyed meeting Terry, the local agent who assisted the owner. He was very helpful and took time to show us around and provide us valuable insight into the neighborhood and Greece in general. Thanks again Terry.

  Spacious, spotless, everything you need to settle in   My husband and I spent 5 nights in this lovely apartment, with our 2 adult children. The apartment was just right for our family. Everything was comfy, and in perfect condition. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to cook some of our dinners there. There is a small grocer few meters away of the apartment as well as a couple of small markets that are about a 10-minute walk. Metros and the archeological sites are also close by (a 4 Metro stop, around a 7 minute ride).   We really liked the warm welcome from Terry, our agent, and the introductory walk around the neighborhood that he took us on. He was also very professional and prompt in dealing with a minor plumbing problem we had. The neighborhood is quite lively with numerous restaurants and coffee houses, for an afternnon break after sightseeing all day.  After a rest, we ate in the neighborhood local restaurants, before our adventures again into town.  The owner, Maria, also arranged our taxi rides to and from the airport, and that also went perfectly smoothly. We had a wonderful vacation. This was the best apartment in Europe, as we visited 3 other countries. Terry, made us feel like part of his family, thank you for a wonderful stay.

  Some words to say about this outstanding hospitable environment. Everything we hoped for a home away from hone, was right there in the apartment. Space, comfort, clean, super attentive agent, and information from owner for our travel needs. Location was ideal, neighborhood was authentic local Greek, but most of all the restaurants were superb!!! We had a true slice of hospitable, beautiful Greece. A GREAT FIND!!!

  I want to thank my hosts for the perfect vacation we had. They were VERY HOSPITABLE. Always there when we needed help (when we locked ourselves out)! Our agent even took us to the beach one day. The beach is not that far, and wonderful to cool off. The locarion is IDEAL. Near the Metro, near the Antiquities, Near restaurants, groceries, coffee shops. I will tell my co-professors about this friendly, convenient apartment for thdir vacation. The owners and agent make you feel like family, and treat you like family. Thank you again!!!

  We had excellent service from the owner, and our agent was superb. Apartment large, bigger than we expected, was really nice, clean, and neat. There was everything that was promised and even more. Location was also good; near the metro station, tram stop and bus stop. Area and the building was safe. Apartment is also close to the city center; only 4 minutes by metro. The prices in this area are cheaper than in city centre. There was several supermarkets, and restaurants nearby with great authentic Greek food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Our agent was attentive to ALL OUR needs, and very helpful. He even drove us to places we did not expect him to take us during a taxi strike. He helped us as though he was a lost uncle from Britain. Due to him we love the British even more now. "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON"! The owner, planned our entire trip to the islands with many great ideas through her numerous emails to us. We would stay here again, and encourage our friends to do the same. Thank you for making our vacation extra wonderful.

  What a great place from which to experience Athens! Everything you read in the other reviews is true. My wife and I had a wonderful time and regret that we could not stay longer. A big part of it was the apartment and location, but also the owner and agent. I travel the world and have never experienced such attention to detail and level of care to ensure an enjoyable stay (I don’t want to call it service – they really care.) The apartment is perfect to just relax (the couches will lull you into a quick nap if you’re not careful) or go out and be adventurous. It’s just outside of the touristy areas, but only just, tucked inside a great little neighborhood filled with cafés, bakeries, restaurants, grocery, etc… It’s all here. This allows for one to mingle with the locals and get some authentic food, wine and neighborhood laughter. The people were very welcoming and open with us – we ate dinner with whole families (in one of the restaurants) while watching a local football game. The good times were flowing and we cheered along! This was exactly what we were looking for. As for the antiquities – your only four quick metro stops away from the Acropolis and new museum. The metro is an enjoyable five minute stroll from the apartment Other stops and or plazas are only minutes away and easily accessible – no need to rent a car. The owner will be sure that everything is ready and will supply you with very detailed information and suggestions. The agent who meets you is an absolute gem and was more than attentive. We feel that we have not only come away with a great experience, but also a new friend. We will miss him and will speak of him fondly. All-in-all, the apartment was perfect and close to everything one could want while being in a safe neighborhood. We love the balconies and spent many a moment on them drinking coffee or tea. I would highly recommend a stay here as it has been a simple and painless procedure at a fantastic price. Again, it was exactly what we were looking for... and more.

  We are Seasoned travelers from down under. Athens was our last stop after 4 months of travelling around Europe. May I say that this was the best acommodations we had through our trip. The apartment was clean, large, comfortable in every way. The best couches, and beds in our travels. We had a nice kitchen to prepare sone easy meals. The restaurants are plentiful in the neighborhood and very reasonable, with authentic Greek food which we enjoyed. Going to all the Antiquities was very easy and fast with the Metro. We could not believe how fast the Metro was, and how fast we got to the center of town, Acropolis, Parthenon, Plaka, Monastiraki etc. Great location, near the city center, but yet a local Greek neighborhood where we experienced Greek life style for the time we were there. The Farmer's market was great, grocery stores are near by, along anything you need in a neighborhood. Our agent was there to welcome us, and walk us around the neighborhood on the first day so we knew which stores to shop for food, and which ones are open late. He was a great help for some of our other needs as tourists. He even drove us to the beach couple of times. The owner gave us great ideas to see places that we had not imagined were there for our pleasure. This last leg of our travel made us wish we had stayed here longer. We felt at home.   Our vacation in Athens during the negative news publicity WAS WONDERFUL. We never felt any of the negative vibe. We were able to do all the sight seeing we were there for. Enough of that... About our stay now... Our apartment was more than we expected. It was exactly the way it was described and then some. Very Spacious, good flow to the living areas, quiet, sunny to enjoy the Greecian light. Kitchen was comlete with everything to prepare meals - even formal dishes for entertaining. The neighborhood had everything we needed - from super markets, to small late liitle markets, bakeries, banks, etc. A park nearby with fountains for a delightful cup of early coffee at the numerous (8) coffee shops. A delightful meal at night at some of the best tavernas around the park. We ate most our meals in the neighborhood - reasonable GREAT AUTHENTIC FOOD. We would stay there again in a heart beat. We are trevelers and have never experienced such great service from the owner - who emailed us great ways to spend our days, short trips around Athens, and great places to eat. The agent is English, lives next door and was always there to help us. Even on the night when we lost our keys. He even drove us to a museum when my wife twisted her ankle. The attention to the guests at this establishment surpassed any other place we have ever stayed in Europe. We highly recommend this apartment for location, spacious, clean, great neighborhood, convenient to the Metro, great restaurants with reasonable prices, and a great agent who is very supportive and attentive to his guests.

  Our stay at this apartment was wonderful. It was more than we expected. Large, clean, convenient to the Metro, restaurants, coffee shops, the Antiquities were minutes away from the Metro. Even the beach was accesible by a short taxi ride. We had a great time, staying at a very friendly, quiet , and safe neighborhood with lots of space. The owner was extremely helpful to guide us where to go and what to see. The agent is English and extremelly helpful. He lives next door, so it is convenient to seek him out if you need something. I woulf definetelly tell my friends about this great place. The connection to Internet and WiFi helps.
