Welcome to 50 Pinecone Trail - a brand new mountain getaway in the heart of the Winter Park/Fraser, Grand County valley. Built in 2009, this unit is brand new and features top-end finishes throughout, while still retaining a great family-friendly atmosphere.
Among the highlights of this unit are the beautiful kitchen with granite counters and brand new full-size stainless steel appliances including fridge, flat-top range, microwave, and more. Brand new 42" (family room) and 32" (master bedroom) TVs present a modern touch to catch your favorite show. Free wireless and wired high-speed internet is included.
Proximity to the best of the Colorado mountains is awesome. Within the development is biking and hiking, fishing, and walking. It even has a climbing area for kids and a picnic area for the summer. Wildlife sightings are quite common and include fox, moose, deer, elk, owls, and much more. Whether in the summer or winter, everything you could want to do for a great trip is within walking distance or a short drive. Winter Park Ski Area is 5-10 minutes by car, or private shuttle. Granby is 20 minutes away, and Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are less than 45 minutes from your door. The new state-of-the-art recreation center is literally across the street from the development's entrance. You can also walk to downtown Winter Park in an easy 5-10 minutes.
Our family has been so excited to enjoy this property, and now that it is all ready, we're excited to share it with yours. We have fun art on the walls, a kitchen with anything you could need to have a complete meal, comfortable beds, and a clean and modern mountain design. We know you'll love it as much as we do! About the owner: Our small family (pictured here) stays active and loves getting out to the mountains. Our careers in Denver are wonderful, but a nice breakaway is so refreshing and necessary. Among the highlights of our time in the high country is family time, teaching our daughter to ski (and snowboard soon), mastering bike riding, and so much more. Getting to the mountains takes us away from the rush of work during the week, and is such a nice change of scenery!
Why the Owner Chose Rendezvous:
We love the Colorado mountains and purchased this property as a way for our family to enjoy time together. We love to ski and snowboard and tube in the winter and enjoy the summers equally with biking, hiking, and walking. Winter Park and its surrounding area offer such a great getaway without fighting so much I-70 traffic. Only 60 miles from Denver, whichever way you're going, you're there fast, while others are still staring at brakelights. This area is not as commercialized as Vail or Silverthorne, but that is part of the charm, and the prices are reasonable and the crowds light. We just love the relaxation. The days seem to last longer here, and that makes all the difference for a relaxing time away!
