  Stayed with 2 small kids for one week. Excellent location with beach across the street. Watch the dolphins swim by from the sunroom. Unit was very clean and spacious. We found the wireless internet and free long distance calls to be very convenient. Our kids enjoyed building sand castles with the beach toys provided in the condo. They also loved mini-golfing at Smugglers Cove, less than two minute walk from condo. Owner very good to deal with. We definitely recommend this condo as we really enjoyed our stay here.

  My husband and I stayed at this condo for a weekend visit.It was a great relaxing stay. The condo was beautifully decorated and very well kept and clean. It has a great view of the Gulf. The pool and dock area was a great place to entertain our 2 grandkids. They enjoyed the fishing and swimming. Renee the owner was wonderful and very easy to communicate with by phone and email. Definitely will go back!

  We stayed recently at this condo (04-21 to 4-27-2011) and found it to be “as advertised”. That says a lot in this “age-of-disappointment”, when so much of what is promised… turns out to not be true! This was our very 1st VRBO rental and we were NOT disappointed. Booking with the owner Renee was an easy & very pleasant experience via email and phone. The condo is well-located & lovely. However, if you are looking for the “Spring Break” experience and are a young teenager… look elsewhere… you will be bored at this condo! There are no big bars, scooter rentals, “Girls-Gone-Wild” thing here – just a nice “Family” area with a very QUIET beach scene. Of course, if you are a responsible mid-ager with a couple of younger kids or seniors or a young romantic couple… you will LOVE this condo for ALL the reasons that the “Spring Breakers” will hate it! It is a short walk to the quiet beach. The Mini-Golf next door is excellent and a lot of fun! The Salt Rock Grill is pretty good, but has a very “rushed” feel to it – they are pumping people through pretty quick. You will not feel that relaxed here. The food is pretty good, but don’t even be a minute late for your reservation for the “Early Bird” dinner… cause if you are even 1 minute late… they WILL offer you ONLY the FULL-PRICE MENU! (We chose to leave instead on our 2nd visit). The condo is VERY clean (shout out to Suzy the cleaner – she checked in with us to see that all was well and when we met her at the beach was very friendly & a great source of INFO re: restaurants & things to do!). The condo has absolutely everything you could need to prepare your own food. We had steaks one night and a huge Shrimp Fest another and everything we needed was there. There is a lot of fun things to do in the area (from our perspective). There is a beautiful beach & pier further north at Clearwater Beach. Tampa and all of its’ attractions are an easy drive. We’d recommend the Florida Aquarium in downtown Tampa as a great ½ day attraction. We would highly recommend this condo to mid-agers with or without mature kids, singles, romantic young couples or families with young kids. If you have a couple of teenagers looking for exciting (IE: Spring Breaker type lifestyle) experiences -- they will be BORED out of their minds! We’re not sure when we’ll next be able to get back to this area… but we’d highly recommend this condo to you as a great place to base your vacation from. We KNOW that you will enjoy your visit!

  We had a wonderful time. We have 2 kids ages 5 & 8 and this condo was perfect because each had their own individual space and place to sleep. All the kitchen supplies that you need. All the pool and beach items you need including a cooler, beach toys etc. All you do is walk across the street to the beach. Great time. Only 90 minutes to Orlando for a day at the theme park. The only down side is that there is no laundry in the unit itself, only shared laundry in the complex. Other than that, wonderful. I recommend it to everyone.

  We had a wonderful time in Indian Shores. I would definitely recommend this condo. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We had plenty of room. There is also a great view of the ocean and the beach access is right in front of the building. I've always stayed right on the beach, but I didn't feel I was missing anything staying here. I'd definitely go back.

  This a beautiful Florida Gulf coast condo. This unit is attractively decorated and very clean. Everything you need to make your stay easy and fun in fact some extras that will impress you. The Barefoot Beach Resort complex is a great spot across from the beach on the intercoastal waterway.This resort has a nice pool area with a great intercoastal setting. Easy access to the gulf beach and this rental unit has the unique offering at this complex of a gulf view.You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The owner is easy to deal with and very prompt with all communications.Enjoy your stay!

  The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. The beach view was great and much better than it looks in the photos. Overall it is a great place to stay. I hope to stay there again.
