The Orchid Bay Beach Club is a brand new eco-friendly resort community on the Northern coast of Belize. It is a private and quiet getaway - perfect for those who need a retreat away from it all to relax and enjoy nature in style.
Our ocean front Casita is recently completed and located at the Orchid Bay Beach Club on the Bay of Chetumal. It is in a prime location in the resort and very well appointed.
The Orchid Bay Community is refreshingly different in feel and flow, much like the beautiful people and nature of Belize. Enjoy all the modern conveniences of home year round with gentle breezes that invite you to swim, sail, fish, paddle board and hike amidst Mother Nature's finest. Take a stroll through our preserved nature trails. Take a dip in the pool. Put your feet up and feel the breeze while sipping your favorite drink on our front porch, the beach, or under the Palapa swinging in a hammock. Whatever your pleasure, Orchid Bay offers an idyllic retreat from the Every Day.
The Restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and drinks for our guests from 11am-9pm 7 days a week. Most guests choose to cook some of their own meals, and grocery shop in the Airport for liquor and right outside the airport in Belize City for groceries before heading in to Orchid Bay. Our on site Guest Services Representative can also assist with obtaining whatever you wish.
Car or boat shuttles can be arranged to take you to the airports, Corozal Town, Chetumal, or wherever you want to go. A trip to Ambergris Cay for Cay Cauker is also a short plane ride away for the amazing diving, snorkeling, or taking in the sights of the bustling island and reef.
There are several ways to get into Orchid Bay. If coming by land, the remote location takes you over dirt roads through farmland and small villages, as well as cross two hand cranked barge bridges. Guests arriving by boat come directly to the end of our dock. Flying into Belize allows you to see the diverse landscape and waters this beautiful country has to offer.
The local currency is the Belize Dollar, and the exchange rate is pegged 2:1 to the US Dollar (so it doesn't fluctuate). Conveniently for Americans, the US Dollar is widely accepted and the native language of Belize is mainly English and Spanish.

The beachfront casitas is beautiful and comfortable. Great food at the Black Orchid restaurant, just a short walk. Beach, dock, and nature trails are right there.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

'We often travel to warmer climates for business or pleasure, and have seen many beautiful places. We were invited to visit the Orchid Bay Beach Club in 2009 and instantly fell in love with the place. We knew right away that we had to buy a home there. Of all the resorts and developments we've seen over the years, this one is the most unique. It is a great place to either live, invest, or simply go for vacation. We're thrilled with our brand new Casita, and hope those that stay there will enjoy it as much as we do.'

Explore the Mayan Ruins at Cerros or visit the Butterfly Breeding Center at Shipstern Reserve just a few miles away. Take a stroll through our preserved nature trails or take a dip in the pool.
