Kiawah Island is one of the most upscale vacation destinations in the country (per Conde Nast). Our villa is a recently-upgraded one bedroom unit (in a private, gated island community) that complies with the requirements of being considered a premier tier rental, comparing with The Sanctuary Hotel standards. We have spent a lot of time ensuring our guests have all the luxuries of home.
While the unit is not beachfront (about a 50 yard walk to the beach), there is nothing separating the villa other than vegetation and sand dunes from the beach.

The Master Bedroom has a King size bed and a flat screen TV. There is a pull out sofa with a queen mattress in the living room and a flat screen HD TV.
The villa is a part of the Kiawah Island Resort program which means you will be treated as a guest of the resort giving you access to the Night Heron Pool and playground (which is across the street) as well as the Tennis Club Pool. Your reservation also gives you preferred access for reservations to the resort restaurants including The Ocean Room and Jasmine Porch located in The Sanctuary Hotel as well as the Spa at The Sanctuary.
After a day at the beach, golf course, tennis court, pool, walking paths, bike, our villa is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The Night Heron Park (pool), Town Center, East Beach Tennis Club, and Sanctuary Hotel, are all within walking/biking distance. The villa is centrally located to all the golf courses.
Smoking is not permitted in the villa or on the screened porch and No grills permitted in the villa complex due to wood construction.

Great condo, just as described. Deserted beach and great weather were a big plus. Only 25 min. from Charleston which we enjoyed very much. Restaurants on island were good but a bit expensive. Golf courses were beautiful. Make sure you rent bikes and enjoy all the trails and sites on Kiawah. Great time. Condo is just a few steps from the beach. Everything was close by including super market and shopping.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

Marvelous resort, beautifully decorated condo practically on the beach, near all activities. Winter activities abound including - birdwatching tours, boating in the Tidelands, beachcombing and delicious dinners in the restaurants. Watching the sunset from the bar @ the Oceanfront Clubhouse with the ocean on three sides was spectacular. We'll return with our golf clubs next visit!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My husband and I spent Valentine's week-end here and were very pleased with the condo. The resort is beautiful and self-contained-you never have to leave as there are many resturants as well as shops and a great grocery with alything you need. The condo was very clean and furnished nicely. The beach is a short walk and despite the cool weather, a pleasant afternoon walk. The owner is easy to work with and responds quickly.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My wife and I decided to spend 5 nights here during our honeymoon. This was our first trip to Kiawah and our first time in this condo. We loved our stay. We had wine waiting for us in the room, everything about the condo and the resort was top notch. The staff knew our names and every detail was taken care of. We enjoyed the many restaurants and activites on site and the professionalism of every staff member we encountered. We will be coming back! No reason to look for any better place to stay than here!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

In 2004, my job required me to move away from our home in Charleston. We wanted to have a Charleston connection, and invested in this property on Kiawah Island. While our unit is rented most of the time due to it's recent upgrade, we try to visit and experience the wonderful Kiawah/Charleston experience as often as possible.
