  I was very pleased to find out that Zul had a studio for me to rent for 5 nights in May 2013, and this time it was just as clean, quiet, convinient and restful as my first extended stay in September 2012. When I first arrived at their home he and his wife greeted me warmly & happily and told me to just let them know if there was anything that I needed. The suite was the same one I had stayed in last time, but it was so sparkling clean and fresh that it was as if it had been completely renovated! As before, it had that comfortable bed with freshly laundered linens and the kitchenette was fully equipped with microwave, toaster oven, mini-refrigerator and all eating utensils, plates, bowls and drinking glasses absolutely spotless. I love the large bathroom and I didn't mind the single shower stall since I was traveling alone. And the cable TV/DVD player entertainment electronics were easy to use with many, many TV or music stations to select. As I stated in my earlier review, the rental is near Trans-Canada Highway 1, therefore very convenient to travel anywhere in Vancouver from there. Overall, this was again a gem of a rental to stay at, and I have to recommend it to single travelers or couples who are passing through Vancouver and who wish to save money too.   My husband & I just returned from 6 nights in Vancouver and staying in this suite made our trip even more enjoyable. It is a wonderful place to stay, quiet, peaceful, clean and well maintained. The description and pictures on the listing do a great job of depicting the suite. The owners were so kind and accommodating. They really made you feel like the suite was your "home away from home." I would recommend this suite to our friends and family. It is a great place for a couple to stay in a beautiful area. It was easy access to restaurants, shopping and movies.

  This was the first site that I hit when I searched on Google for a reasonable place to stay in Burnaby. It seemed too good to be true with such a low rate per night and so close to the places we needed to be at and it was just off the #1 Highway. Also I was wondering if I should inquire more but the accommodation and location was just perfect for us. We were still skeptical but booked it anyway as it was at the right location and we just needed a place to stay at and no more. Well the place exceeded our expectations: it had all the basic amenities one would wish for plus more, it was very clean and above all a very quiet place. The owners had left for a well deserved vacation and their daughter Yashina could not have been more accommodating to our needs. We have been mentioning this location to many of our friends here and have decided that that will be our place to stay every time we visit Vancouver....hopefully it is available during those times!   I stayed at this brand new Burnaby vacation rental studio from Sept. 4 - 26 Sept., 2012 and left refreshed and rested, feeling very fortunate I had found this on VRBO-Vancouver. It had a spacious room with a very comfortable double bed, a spacious bathroom with marble-tiled floor and all other listed ameneties in complete working order. There is even another rental unit accessed by a convenient doorway to this rental that can be added if available. The owner and his family were very gracious and respectful and generously gave me tips about good restaurants in the neighborhood when I asked, and the quiet residential location was very peaceful. Entrance to the Trans-Canada Highway 1 was nearby on Willingdon Ave., which made it easy to drive quickly to many places in the city. There is a one-time cleaning fee in addition to the very low $49 per night rent, that was not shown in their VRBO ad. However, this certainly does not deter me from wanting to return to rent their studio again-it is a "gem" attached to their sumptuous and well-maintained property. I was not disappointed in any way with this rental and you probably will not be disappointed either! -Tom R., from Honolulu, Hawaii

  Motel 6 price and Marriot quality. The best kept secret in Burnaby and the bonus is our houst, Zul. He is a genuine, nice gentleman who will goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome to his beautiful home. Exceptionally clean and quiet too. I know where to send my guests from now on.

  Stayed here for about a week and looking forward to coming back and staying again. A nice, quiet, clean and cozy abode with all the amenities that one would seek and find in a suite hotel. A small work area, Queen size bed, access to netflix/Blue Ray made it like I never left home. But once walking outside, you are able to take in the beautiful Burnaby scenery with the easy/close access to major roads and bus stops. Went to Joeys, Metrotown, Earls, and mane places along Kingsway near/around Metrotown. Zul was an amazing host and made sure the accomodations was superb. Excellent and only great thing to say. This is a beautiful place and a hidden gem. Looking forward to visiting again.

  Fabulous place to stay. Location is great for Burnaby and surrounding area. Very user friendly with small appliances for breakfast making etc. Very clean and tidy. Great bed. Satellite TV. Owners very pleasant and helpful. So much better than a Hotel room.

  My husband and I stayed here for four nights and were thrilled with every aspect of our stay! It was very clean and quiet. The owners were very gracious and accommodating with our last minute plans, even calling to confirm details. These were the first days of our vacation and set the tone for a restful and fun holiday! We would definitely stay again and have already told others and highly recommended your VRBO! Thank you!!

  it was our first trip to Vancouver and our stay with Zul+ family was perfect!. EVERYTHING that is described in the ad is 100% true!. This is a perfect option instead of a hotel/ house rental , Very Very reasonable for what you are getting and the area!

  Three week stay to provide a safe and tranquil haven given a work relocation. The location was ideal and the owner's responsiveness to my inquiries was truly appredicated. This location is very central to many interesting sites that Vancouver and Burnaby have to offer.

  My stay here was from August 3rd to the 29th. It was a wonderful place to stay. I was getting IVF at a near by clinic PCRM. This suite was within walking distance from the clinic. It was a very relaxing enviroment in a quiet community. Everything that is listed is accurate. The owners were esspecially welcoming and helpful.I had to extend my stay here and they accomidated me well.I recommend this suite to anyone going to the PCRM clinic! By the way I must have had a glorious and relaxing stay because Im now pregnant with twins!!

  This was just perfect for my husband and I!! Very clean and very accommodating! Centrally located but in a very quiet neighbourhood! Very restful!! Owners are very respectful of your privacy but very available! Would highly recommend!

  We really enjoyed our stay here. It's excatly what we were looking for while visiting family in Burnaby. I stayed with my husband and 5 month old son. Zul & his family were very accomodating while ensure to respect our privacy. Only complaint I would have is that there was construction on the sidewalk in front of the home which is not something that the owners had any power over and will likely not affect future visitors. I also really appreciated the little things that they've done to ensure we had an pleasent stay including a list of recipes to make in the toaster oven.

  We stayed here for 3 nights in June. Zul and his wife are extremely friendly, helpful, accommodating and open to suggestions. Their home is located close to all amenities and a short drive to SFU. Lots of restaurants nearby too. The neighborhood is very quiet so you can fall asleep easily to the birds chirping in the trees behind their home. Zul and his wife respect your privacy and the home is very quiet so easy to rest. We will be back most definitely.

  I spent 5 days in this suite and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Burnaby as an arrordable alternative to a hotel. It's central location is convenient,close to shopping and restaurants,a few minutes walk to Burnaby hospital and it is very quiet,very clean and private! The owners are personable and very accomadating. I was completely satisfied by my choice and have no doubts about staying here again on any future visits to Vancouver!

  The place was nice and clean. It is a good deal for being in burnaby and vancouver. The studio has a full size bed (a bit too small for 2 people). A queen size bed would definitely be better (I would have given it a 5). It would be hard to fit more than 1 person. Everything works great and is all new facility. A lot of the kitchen stuff was still in boxes or wrapped. It was a good deal. The owners are very nice and the photos reflect the property.

As you mentioned, the website truly reflects the property and clearly indicates that the bed is a full size bed. Most of my previous guests were couples and as you will note in their reviews, they were very comfortable and most satisfied with their stay.

  Located in a quiet neighborhood the Studio is an excellent alternative to a Hotel or a Bed & Breakfast, especially if peace & quiet & privacy is what you seek! Tucked away but centrally located to shops and parks. A home away from home. Amenities are quite sufficient. Zul and his family are charming and respectful. I most definitely will be returning for another 5 day stay in the near future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in both suites while we were in Burnaby, one of them for close to a month. Each room was clean, new and modern. Wifi access was easy on my iPhone and my husband had no trouble setting up his computer to work remotely. Busses are close at hand and take you to either mall in the area where you can find groceries. (Look for the shortcut out back that will lead you down to the road with the bus stop for MetroTown.) Great spot for anyone visiting patients at the Burnaby Hospital (10 minute or less walk.) and for those who are patients at PCRM. The owner's are very kind an accomodating. If we ever needed to stay in Burnaby again, we'd stay here.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

  We had the fortune of being the first people to stay here. It was a wonderful experience. The room is extremely cozy and comfortable and very clean! It is perfect if you need to be in different parts of the Lower Mainland as it is very central. I will definitely be staying there again!
