Like a slice of gateaux in a Parisian chocolaterie, this glossy deluxe townhouse has a deliciously soft centre. Right in the city but tucked away from the main thoroughfare, it is a very stylish, sweet and peaceful retreat. Arranged over 3 floors with open staircases, this wonderful contemporary home comfortably sleeps 4 in a choice of two doubles and a single bedroom and has 2 car parking spaces. Awarded 5 Star Gold by the British Tourist Board.
Park in front of the house and put a second vehicle in the garage if required then make yourself at home. A polished stone entrance leads to a smart white and grey kitchen/diner with a pretty planted walkway by the dining area. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a large fridge and separate freezer and a combined washing machine and dryer. There is an espresso machine and a thermostatic tap for instant boiling water. The table seats 4.
Upstairs is a spacious living room with oak floors, glass balustrades and witty sculptures. There are two large chocolate sofas with plump sugary cushions and light pours in from broad windows set into a deep bay. There is a large TV and DVD with a selection of films and books.
On the first floor is an elegant double bedroom in shades of plum and grey. There is a double bed, a small TV and storage. There is a small glossy stone tiled en-suite with a shower, hand basin and WC.
Up on the second floor are two further bedrooms and a bathroom set under the eaves. The spacious cream coloured master room has a king-size bed and a wall of fitted storage in which there is a TV and DVD. There are views of town houses and trees next to Bath`s large recreation grounds. There is a pretty single bed room with TV and storage and in-between the two is an inviting glossy stone tiled bathroom with lots of shelf space, an `L`-shaped reclining bath with rainfall shower over, a large hand basin with storage and a WC.
It`s a quick and easy level walk to the city centre where there is a wonderful variety of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. There are many beautiful museums, galleries, parks and historic sites to explore and you are surrounded by glorious architecture.
