  We had a great time at the property. The home was perfect for four guys to spend a week kiting in the sound. We had good wind and a great time, the home owners were easy to work with. They refunded our full security deposit within a week of leaving the property. The Atlantic Coast Cafe across the street was a great breakfast/lunch spot. Hattteras Island surf and sail across the street was a great place to launch and hang out, the owner Barton is great for lessons advice and rentals/sales kiting or windsurfing.

  This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, and we didn't know what to expect. The owners of this house were very accommodating with our vacation schedule and it was very easy to complete the rental transaction. We were thrilled to find out that this house is right in the middle of everything the Outer Banks has to offer. Both the sound and ocean are a short walk away. It is located away from the more touristy towns of Nags Head and Kitty Hawk, which means less traffic and quieter beaches. It is also close to the more southern attractions like Hatteras and Ocracoke, which were our favorites. The house was clean, bright and cheerful. There was plenty of space for all six of us. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large table that sat us all. We were also glad there was a washer and dryer. This home was very affordable and was the perfect place for our family. We are so glad we happened upon it, and would definitely return in the future.

  What a perfect place to spend our first Easter away from home! We spent Easter Day on the beach with only a short walk from the house. After a day on the sand I was able to prepare a fabulous Seafood Feast for Easter dinner with compilation of all locally caught fresh seafood. The kitchen is very well equipped and I was not lacking for anything. The house is very warm and welcoming and we got a good night's sleep every night ! We can not wait to make our way back down to stay at your wonderful home again!

  Had a wonderful stay at "like Nothing else". house is lovely. well equiped! owners were wonderful to work with! would definitely stay again!

  what a fabulours Thanksgiving we have had at "Like Nothing Else". Everything was spotless and so comfortable. The family from "78" to "6 months" had a wonderful get-together ! Truly one of our best family memories,thanks to the hospitality of Sandy and Skip. The warm sunny weather we had sure beats the snow in Vermont.

  A wonderful house and location.The decor is bright and cheerful. Enjoyed the large screened porch for morning coffee and evening drinks. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen is equipped with everything you would need. Will definately be back.

  The newly remodeled "Like Nothing Else" is amazing. Beautifully decorated and comfortable - you'll feel like it is your 'home away from home'. A short walk to the beach and within walking distance of some very good resturants.
