This Cashiers home for rent is a three bedroom mountain cottage nestled far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Easy access and proximity to downtown and to golfing makes this an ideal rental house year around. This completely restored, 50 year old, farm house combines yesteryear charm with modern day necessities.

There is a separate one bedroom guest cottage with kitchen and private bath adjacent to the main house, and can be rented in addition to the main house. Main house and guest house are both one level, and are directly next to each other. The guest house and main house are separate, yet side-by-side. The guest house shares the full-size laundry with the main house.

Nearby Attractions:
Whether it's fishing, hiking, golfing, or shopping, you'll find it nearby. Our home is located just six miles from Lake Glenville near Cashiers, one of the most idyllic mountain lakes that you'll ever find. Lake Glenville is clear and fresh, fed by three waterfalls on separate corners of the Lake. Golf is three miles North on 107 at the prestigious High Hampton Golf Course. The exclusive Wade Hampton Country Club is also nearby.

Or, put on your hiking boots, drive 1.8 miles up 107N, and you'll see a place to pull over and park along the highway. We were amazed to discover this peaceful waterfall, called Silver Run falls. It is an easy walk, and the falls drop into a glassy pool, with plenty of large boulders for picnicking.

Features:
This cottage combines modern day necessities with the ambiance of yesteryear. This home is a great get-away, has a lot of room for kids to run around outside, and is our 'home-away-from-home.' The kitchen is a cooks dream, with a six-burner gas Viking commercial stove, with a large cooking area. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you'll need to prepare those hearty mountain meals! For you grill fans, there is a gas grill just outside the kitchen area. The dining room is separate, with seating for six.

There are three fireplaces - one with stacked stone in the vaulted family room, and a great thermostat-controlled fireplace in the dining room for cozy, romantic meals! The third fireplace is a large outdoor firepit, which easily accomodates 10-15 guests around it.

The Master Suite has a king-size bed, private bath with walk-in shower, ample closet space, and a sitting area which overlooks the property, with a patio outside. The other two bedrooms have two twin beds. Those two bedrooms share a completely renovated tile bathroom.
