We enjoyed our stay in the Designer Apartment in Sidney. The location was great, close to shops and the Bondi Junction transit center. There is a huge mall that has been built near the Junction for shopping including groceries. There were four of us in the group and the apartment worked well. The kitchen and bath facilities were large enough for everyone. The owners were very thoughtful in their furnishing and amenities. They also were very helpful in answering questions and dealing with the payment was quite easy using Paypal. We had a relatively easy time finding parkingl and we found an empty space nearby for our rental. We were able to leave it for five days because the public transportation was so easy. The noise factor was a concern but we were able to close our windows and so it wasn't much of a bother. We were so tired after our busy days of sightseeing that it didn't matter that much to us anyway.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

The location was great being located near Centennial Park. Walking access to Bondi Junction made getting to most anywhere in Sydney quite easy. I do take exception to the property description of being "on the quiet streets of Woollahra" as the apartment bedrooms face Ocean Street, which is a busy four lane street. You could get used to the traffic late at night or early in the morning but it was not possible to sleep through the collection of the refuse and recycling bins (imagine multiple bins of glass containers being emptied into trucks at 5:00 a.m.) on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Overall the apartment, while not spacious, had everything we needed with respect to kitchen items, linens and towels and included everything based on descriptions and photos. Extra blankets would have been useful as we visited during the beginning of winter and the apartment was a bit cool. Having direct access to a clothes washer and dryer was very nice. The owners were great to work with and provided prompt answers to my questions and provided useful information about the area and transportation options. I would have preferred knowing all costs before proceeding with booking (i.e., cleaning fee, internet fee, and website booking fee) as these fees, which I was willing to pay, added over 25% to my costs based on my length of stay. It just makes it more difficult to compare total actual costs to other properties when doing a search. I would also have preferred a payment method other than wire transfer as it is a bit clumsy. I would recommend this place to others because of the location, but would certainly alert them to the noise factor.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thanks for your feedback. We have taken your advice and extra blankets along with heaters have been put in the apartment. Unfortunately there is not much to be done about the Garbage/Recycling collectors - this is a problem in most areas of Sydney. With regards to the fees, all of our guests are sent a booking information sheet before any payment is made, outlining all costs. Unless your stay is extended we don't alter from that booking sheet. Again, we do offer Credit Card Payments via our websites, but this incurs a surchage so most people opt for wire transfer. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate the feedback - we want our guests to have a fantastic stay in sydney, so any feedback is always taken on board!
