  The condo was located overlooking the beach and across the street from a shopping plaza. Perfect location for those who want to leave the car parked for the week. The condo was clean and well decorated and included all the amenities needed. The refrigerator had a welcome "basket" which included a bottle of wine, water, soda, popcorn, salsa, chips, and candy. As the condo was located near the public beach and boardwalk, it was easy to take the bikes on the beach for cruising the shore.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car.

  This has a wonderful view of the ocean. It has a very modern feel with several extras such as tiling on the kitchen and bathroom floors. We originally booked to stay for one week but extended our stay into a second week. We looked at several other units and this is clearly the most attractive. In addition we were very pleased with the goodies Linda had left for us and the extra supplies in the bathroom. Linda was very helpful in accommodating the extra needs of Canadian snowbirds. Even though she was out of town during our visit , she quickly solved a minor problem that we encountered. Overall , an excellent experience and I would recommend this one bedroom unit for couples.

  I can not express how wonderful our stay was at #138 :). From the minute I got in contact with Linda I knew this was the perfect place for out getaway. She was wonderful and worked with our schedule (which was somewhat limited) and it felt just like home when we walked through the door. You are literally right on the beach and the condo was stocked with everything we could possibly need - including snacks which our 2 year old loved! Being across from the square was great and we biked everywhere which was so nice! This truly is a top notch vacation home and our family will be coming back again next year!

  Much thanks to L & C for sharing their wonderful condo. It was my 66th birthday and our 46th anniversary. What a treat to walk into a condo that looks exactly like the pictures...maybe even better. It is perfect for a couples getaway. Ocean views, beach, nice pool and within walking distance to loads of shops and restaurants. L was great to recommend some wonderful restaurants and we thoroughly enjoyed her suggestions. The condo is in a great location and we were happy to note the presence of security on site. L was so great to work with and we are already looking at future dates to return.

  We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is decorated nicely, everything is matching and updated. I could have packed so much less beacuse eveything was supplied, from bathroom items to beach items! Great money saver!! The best of all was Linda, I felt from the very start that I new her like a friend, she is so helpful, really nice and a caring person. She really wanted you to enjoy your vacation and we really appreciated all her kindness and help. Great place to stay.

  My husband and I visited The Breakers for our second time, once again in Linda's fabulous unit. We were not going to take a vacation this year, but we couldn't stay away! The unit was again immaculate and she left us some cold drinks and treats to greet us when we arrived. Everything was spotless and in working order. If it felt like home the first time we visited, it sure felt like home this time! We simply didn't want to leave! She does think of everything really! Coffee filters, beach chairs and towels, even small containers for snacks at the beach. We explored some new restaraunts on this visit - enjoyed a great brunch at A Lowcountry Backyard (very close to the unit - try the bananas foster french toast!), dinner at Black Marline Bayside Grille (Palmetto Bay Marina, amazing fresh seafood) and dinner at Marley's Grille (entrance to Sea Pines, best food I have ever had on the island, period). I also enjoyed beachfront yoga at the Holiday Inn next door (on my bucket list). All in all, the convenience of Linda's unit (so close to Coligny and nearby shops and restaurants, first floor convenince to parking lot and beach) and its condition (modern, bright, well-cared for, and the VIEW - just you and the ocean!) make it second to none. We will certainly be back, Linda!!

  My husband and I stayed at #138 for a week in April. We had a fantastic time. The location cannot be beat. We could walk across the street to great shops and restaurants and the beach was just steps away. We were also able to explore much of the island by bike because The Breakers is situated in the middle of the coastline. As for the unit, it was very nice - clean, well stocked, and nicely located within the building. I also loved the 'beachy' decor. The listing was accurate and the owner was responsive and helpful. I have already recommended this property to others!

  Dear Linda, We have just arrived home and want to thank you again for sharing your lovely home-away-from-home with us! We had such a wonderful, relaxing time and really, really, REALLY enjoyed that view! It's amazing and would have been happy just sitting on the balcony the entire time especially at the new bar table and chairs. It was nice to begin our days enjoying the sunrises on the ocean, as we watched the dolphins swim by. As well, the pool was right there; it was never crowded or noisy and so close. We were right across the street from Coligny Circle, a great place for shopping, dining and all your vacation supplies. Of course, the beach access is great and the location is perfect for getting to the golf courses and bike trails on the Island. Although small, we loved the décor – especially, the hardwood floors even in the bedroom. With all the positives of this unit, it still would have been nice to have had room for a dishwasher!! Thank you also for the welcome goodies we found in the fridge, it was very much appreciated. Kind regards, Jim and Barb

  We had stayed at The Breakers years ago and loved the location. We were so happy to rent this updated and beautifully furnished condo. It has everythig that you would need. Since we flew, we greatly appreciated that beach chairs were provided. It was wonderful to be renting directly from the owner and not a management company. We appreciated her personal touches. There is a beautiful view of the beach and ocean from the deck. We enjoyed the privacy. We would highly recommend this condo and would definitely rent this one again!

  We stayed in this condo over Labor Day Weekend and loved it! I've stayed at the Breakers before, so I knew the space would be tight, but this condo made a great use of space. There was plenty of storage in the hall closet, and a dresser in the bedroom. The kitchen was small, but it was adequate to cook breakfast and lunch. Although the sofa folded out to a couch, we took the back cushions off, and it was very comfy (and large enough for one)! I keep coming back to the Breakers for its location: you can literally park your car and walk to everything for the entire vacation. Dinner, entertainment, and even a grocery store are directly across the street. This unit has a fantastic view of the ocean! When staying at the Breakers, if you don't get this unit, be sure to stay on the 1st floor. The property has no elevator, and the 1st floor is up 1 flight of stairs, the 2nd floor is up 2 flights, etc. It's a great way to get exercise, but after an active day at the beach, I am happy for only 1 flight. The only disadvantages to the property: (1) the condos are small, and (2) the bedroom is adjacent to the exterior hallway, so you WILL hear noisy people pass by, especially if you go to bed early or are a late riser. This owner was very friendly and fantastic with communication. She emailed the keyless code promptly (we loved the keyless entry!), and she even sent a map with directions and her favorite places marked. She personally went to the condo prior to check-in to be sure everything was in place, and she left snacks and drinks for us. Unlike many of the "corporate" rentals, this unit was fully stocked with dish detergent, paper towels, coffee filters, beach chairs, beach blankets, etc. I will definitely rent here again, and I'll recommend it to my friends!
