  My Wife and I spend a week in this condo right before the busy season. It was exactly as we expected! This was our first time to Turks & Caicos and were very happy with the location of Ocean Club East as it had the best stretch of beach section and the most private location compared to other resorts. We used the on-site bicycles every day and routinely made trips to the grocery store to pick up food and alcohol. There really isn’t much around so if you are looking for any type of nightlife this really isn’t the best location. You can walk east down the beach for over a mile and only see a few people. We were very happy with the condo unit, the only complaint is with the shower design the floor ends up soaked. The half bath was a nice feature. The internet is very fast and the screened in balcony is where we spent a lot of our time. The owners are very organized and easy to deal with to book this condo. The resort has a ton of security that is always around so it felt very safe, although the resort has very low lighting at night which took some getting used to (I assume because electric is very expensive here)

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

  Owner response: Unfortunately our guests never mentioned the shower problem to us during their stay or we would have had our maitenance man correct the stituation emediately. The shower is a new garden shower and the situation has been corrected.

  Loooovvvved it! Thank you so much for this opportunity! Thank you also for being so receptive to our many questions and providing us with such detailed information. Made life easy. My husband, myself and 2 daughters, ages 10 and 7, had been waiting anxiously for this Spring Break trip (we booked since August 2011 since we got great deals on fares!). We made these plans with my sister and her family and our cousins and their children. I have to say when my sister first suggested going through VRBO I was skeptical because we were taking a chance. Well I am happy we took that chance! My family stayed in the 1 bedroom which had PLENTY of room. When we first walked in we were caught off guard by the size of the room which had a huge livingroom area and dining room area, as well as a kitchen with an island. And 2 bathrooms...WOW! I just wish there was a shower curtain on the other half because we kept getting the floor too wet :( And let's not forget a walk in closet for 3 ladies! The room was clean, tidy, left with plenty of towels and I wish I had remembered we had the washer and dryer in the room because I would have packed less! It was also helpful that we were offered the opportunity to have a cleaning halfway thru our stay (which by the way, they were such a sweet and respectful family!). My sister and our cousins were just as happy with their rooms. Although they were not as large as mine, they were aware of it because they just wanted a place to sleep and shower...we all had plenty of room in our room! As for the hotel area itself...beautiful landscaping, 2 separate pools, a great place to eat on the premises, as well as an area to BBQ, which we did one night, and a hop to the back where the beach was. What a view! The water was gorgeous! We didn't want to leave the premises but we did want to explore the other restaurants. Opus, the on site restaurant, was delicious and had a great ambiance. The food was reasonably priced also, especially the kid meals. Hemingway's was also good. Our last dinner was at Ocean Club West's Seaside which was so-so. We did a pirate excursion for the kids, which we highly recommend (Captain Bill) with snorkeling and boat ride out to see. There is so much more to say but so little words to use up! I have already recommended this place to friends and I just got back Thursday! We left with tears in our eyes but we made a pact that we would be back real soon and plan on staying at your rooms! Thanks again

  Accommodations: spacious, airy, clean, well-appointed one bedroom . . . we couldn't have asked for more. Location: great views of the ocean; one-minute walk to the remote end of the fabulous Grace Bay beach; two good restaurants on-site; shuttle to Ocean Club West and many restaurants, grocery, and shops. Ocean Club Staff: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. What a great way to relax and have fun! Thanks, Bob & Kathy!

  I spent a week in this beautiful condo with my family in January and it was better than we could have imagined. It was a perfect resort for little kids and the condo was quite spacious. My wife and I even had a chance to do dinner alone one night thanks to the baby sitting services at the resort. We'll definitely be back again.

  We spent 8 fabulous days on our first trip to TCI and stayed in Bob and Cathy's beautiful one-bedroom unit at Ocean Club. They were great to deal with and everything was perfect from the time we checked in. The condo was renovated and had everything one could ask. We loved this resort and found the eastern end beaches the best along Grace Bay. The Cabana Bar & Grill was an ideal spot to hang, get a drink for the beach, or grab breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend getting a car when staying here. It was nice to have the freedom to go when we wanted, even if it was only to the IGA store. There is so much to see outside of the resort. We took a day trip to North and Middle Caicos, getting on the 6:30 am ferry. Mudjin Harbour on Middle Caicos is one of the most picturesque places in TCI. On Provo one must get to Chalk Sound for a day trip. Have lunch at Las Brisas then go to Taylor Beach in the afternoon. Too many excellent restaurants to list. We can't wait to go back!

  Our vacation was wonderful! Your condo was extremely nice and was more than we ever imagined. We soon found ourselves very relaxed and felt very much at home in TCI. The white sandy beach and the blue water was beyond our expectations. We took advantage of the grills by the pools and cooked some of our meals. It was delightful. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and we soon discovered that people come back year after year. I can certainly see why. My husband and I both agreed this vacation was better than our Bermuda, Grand Cayman, or Maui trips. This is truly paradise and we are already planning our trip back!

  Hi Cathy, We loved your condo on Turks and Caicos and want to thank you so much for sharing it with us! It was such a perfect location, and the beach was so beautiful. We had to move into a studio unit after 4 days staying in yours (availability reasons), and honestly it was not nearly as nice. We had a parking lot view so that was also a disappointment.   Bob & Cathy, We just wanted to let you know that we have fallen in love with TCI. Our holiday (Feb 21-28) was perfect. Your 1 bedroom condo was extremely comfortable and very convenient. The shuttle bus driver was nice enough to drop us off and pick us up at the Graceway Gourmet. We enjoyed grilling our own suppers a few times at the poolside BBQs. The beach and the colour of the water was out of this world. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our trip so much that we are extremely interested in returning next year with our two teenage daughters. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday, hope to hear from you soon.   My family stayed here recently for our annual family vacation. We always try to go somewhere new! This year we were lucky enough to go to the Turks & Caicos. We had such a wonderful time! We made some really great and lasting memories. Would recommend this unit/resort to anyone!!

  I love this one bedroom condo! It is absolutely beautiful!!! This was such an amazing vacation for my husband and I! It was like a second honeymoon! IF we ever get the chance to go back to the Turks and Caicos, I would stay here again in a heart beat!! When we wanted quiet and peaceful, we had that and were able to relax!! And, when we wanted social and fun, we had that too. Ocean Club has so much to offer!!
