I would have expected more than this for the price. It is relatively small for a seven bedroom home. The stair case is beautiful but not very practical. The living room is tiny! I mean tiny! Barely large enough for 5 people let alone an area for the kids to play. The main floor tv is an old tubular model. Pretty generic. I would have expected a flat panel at least at this price. The kitchen is very small and passable by only one person at a time! Makes meal preparation difficult, dancing around everyone. The appliances are outdated and don't even match! One is black, one is white, and one is silver...and they are all old! Reminded me of my college apartment. Again, not what you would expect from a high end rental. The fixtures in the bathrooms are pretty beat up. The master bathroom is amazing but definitely a huge minus with 1980's style brass fixtures that are tarnished. Many of the guest bathrooms are very generic, worn down, and moldy. Some of the marble bathroom floors are stained with some orange discoloration. There were no beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, towels, or any other amenity to the home. You are on your own for that. One of the ceiling fans in the master bedroom was broken as were many of the window blinds. The home was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival as there was hair, dirt, and sand on the bathroom floors. The pool is nice but you are not allowed to use the heater, the jacuzzi jets, or any controls associated with it. It is very nice to be right on the beach and have your own, albeit tiny, pool. However, this rental is over priced or better said, under-furnished. I just would have expected more. Been here for 2 days...thank goodness for the Destin beaches and emerald water...that is the saving grace.Owner response: Thank you for taking the time during your vacation to let us know how your vacation home was. Since your vacation, the Millenia has undergone some fantastic changes. We are extremely excited that we have presented the Millenia with our Prestige experience. This includes upgraded towels, linens and upon your arrival one of our Southern employees will personally greet you to walk the home and ensure that you have everything you need. The kitchen has since been updated and all appliances are matching in black, the blinds have been repaired, and the living room TV has been changed to a flat screen. The pool is not advertised as a hot tub, so unfortunately it will function only as a pool that you can choose to have heated. Also, beach service is included in your stay as well, which includes (2) chairs and (1) umbrella set up daily in season for your convenience! Again, thank you for giving us feedback and we hope that you will stay at the Millenia once again to enjoy all of the amenities we have added since your last stay! Warm regards, Guest Service Team
