  What a wonderful house - beautifully equipped - great location. We so enjoyed our three weeks +. Gina is very easy to work with on arrangements. The house is very attractive, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty to kitchen equipment for cooking. We have stayed in a number of beach houses - this one is the best overall. There are plenty of places to eat and you are close to Venice for even more good restaurants. We had a lovely stay!

  My family has been coming to Manasota Key for many years. This beach house was a great find for a family of four. The pictures online do not do it justice, we were even more impressed in person. Everything was perfect, the house was well equipped with many amenities. The private pool and short walk to the private beach were just perfect. The house has many beach towels, mats, and chairs that are great for long days at the beach. The kitchen and bathrooms are very clean and updated. We enjoyed many sunsets on the dock at the bay or at the beach with a glass of wine. There are many restaurants and shops close by. The house allows pets and our Cavapoo, Winston really enjoyed the long walks and swimming at the beach. He was right at home with so many other dogs around. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a little piece of paradise off the beaten path. The caretakers Herb & Patsy were very nice & provided good restaurant recommendations. We are looking forward to returning soon!

  Manasota Key was recommended by my boss who also had a house near the Bay. So we found this little gem of a place and this was a true paradise!!! Everything you could ever want in a little vacation get-away. Perfect layout for a house and quite spacious as we loved the outside lanai area and pool area especially in the evenings!!! Just the right place and location (just far enough away from night life, but still easy enough to get to) as we'd would highly recommened this place for anyone looking to getaway for some R&R!!! All the house ammenities were just right and well thought out by the Owners... making us feel it was our own home. Our daughter who is 10 1/2 just loved the place too as she was like a fish out of water, so if you have kids, there are plenty of pool toys with awesome access to the Bay and Beach!!!!....as well as plenty of other activities in the area!!! We look forward to coming back to this area and returning to our favorite little gem of paradise on Manasota Key!!!

  The Beach House is relaxation in the best setting in old Florida. Between the beach, pool and bay we never left the property for the whole week. The house has everything you need for a home away from home. This was our third year and we are already looking forward to our next.

  I highly recommend this house for your vacation. I know we will probably be going back. It is a beautiful home, very clean, has everything you need, plus things you forgot to pack. It was my parents, me and my husband and our 2 children ages 13 & 6. We all fit very comfortably. So close to the beach and bay side and we LOVED having our own private pool for the kids. I can't imagine anything better for the price. Plus it felt very private, yet there was shopping and restaurants just minutes away. And the owners were great at answering questions when I had them. We ate at quite a few of the restaurants, we tried to eat as much seafood as possible. If you are planning a trip that way, I say call about this house, you will not be disappointed.

  My husband, two kids(8 & 10), and I arrived just as Tropical Storm Debbie arrived. Even though this put a damper on the first few days we made the most of it. We even went down to the public beach on one of the storm days when it wasn't raining. The kids played in the sand but the ocean's waves were too strong to go in. Once the storm passed the water was beautiful. That was one powerful storm! Very neat to see ONCE. The home was perfect. Very clean and decorated just like I would expect a beach home to be. We have rented a few homes in the area and would definitely come back to this beach home. You felt just like you were at home. The pool was amazing and the beach was a two minute walk just across the island's one road...perfect! The kids also went fishing in the bay (two houses away) with their grandfather. They all caught a few fish! What a great place you have. We will cherish the memories we made on this vacation. Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home. We did not want to leave and can't wait to come back!

  What a wonderful home for a vacation! It was exactly like the on line description. The pool was such a bonus; very large and relaxing! I would recommend this home to anyone vacationing with family or friends. I would rent this home again!!

  We had a trip diverted due to a passport issue and started looking on VRBO to find an alternative location that would provide a Caribbean-like experience. We found it! This private beach house was as comfortable as home. Clean and well-appointed and very private and secure feeling. We stopped at both the Lock and Key and the Grill for our two dinner nights and could imagine being a regular. Our kids loaded up on sharks teeth and shells at the private beach from easement with the house. Although we were not directly on the gulf, the privacy of the home and the home's pool coupled with the quality throughout was well worth the trade-off. It was very peaceful and yet 3 miles from groceries and shopping. Once you hit the bridge into Manasota Key you entered a vacation world just far enough from the congestion and traffic of the main areas of Florida.

  We stayed here for a one week vacation in June. The house is accurately described online and is well maintained. My kids loved the pool and there was plenty of space for us w/ 3 bedrooms and a large dining area. Sitting in the screen enclosed lanai or by the pool is quiet and peaceful. The walk to the beach was just across the road so it isn't very far. We were basically the only people on our section of the beach - perfect! Plenty of dining nearby plus Publix grocery store is a short drive. Overall, a great place to stay.
