My wife and I spent the month of October at this rental--and we loved each minute of it. The 2-bedroom unit itself is clean and modern, with a full kitchen and a divided bathroom (the shower, sink, and washing machine in one room and the toilet in another) with new tile and an excellent shower. A more than adequate dining/living room led to a wonderful balcony that looks out over the parador down the coastline to the cliffs of Cerro Gordo (with some binoculars you can count four or five of the 15th century watchtowers that dot the Costa del Sol). My favorite part of our stay were the drop-dead gorgeous sunrises we were treated to nearly every morning, coming up over the eastern cliffs and across the water. We could watch the colors from our bed but were nearly always drawn to the balcony with a camera and a cup of coffee. We also enjoyed the proximity to several beaches (one a ten minute walk) and the nearness of the quaint, narrow, shop-lined streets of Old Nerja. Many good restaurants to choose from. Because our stay was lengthy, we used much of our time touring Southern Spain. Nerja is a great hub for visiting the hill towns, the Alpjurra, Malaga, and Grenada (a little more than an hour's drive). One of the most charming of the Moorish hill towns, Fragiliana, is a ten minute drive up the hill. We really appreciated the secured, private parking that came with the rental--no worries about finding street parking. It's worthy of noting that the wifi at the unit is available but not free. While this may sound like a disadvantage, it wasn't. For just $30 we had access to professionally maintained wifi that was as fast and reliable as what we have at home. Too often "free wifi" at apartment rentals means spotty service and frustrating upload delays. It was nice to have that dependability. Finally, the apartment owners are English speakers and easy to work with. Their onsite representative was very responsive. Just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we have had in Nerja. Your condo is great and in the perfect location. Close to the beach and the Balcon and fabulous restaurants. Gabriella was amazing. The place was spotless when we arrived and she went with us to the ER and translated for us. We went to Granada, Frigiliana, the caves, Codoba and Ronda. So terrific.............. My husband and I rented this apartment for a week and we absolutely fell in love with Nerja. Paul and Susan were a delight to work with and I was able to talk to them and ask questions before we left. They were so helpful in pointing out restaurants, markets and attractions. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed and the location was perfect!! We will be back!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I just wanted to let you know that we loved your place in Nerja!! Nerja is where I could go back and spend more time!! We enjoyed the restaurants, shops and just the small town feel! We spent wonderful days. Our expectations for a cozy home is fully justified. The apartment is clean, comfortable, close to beach, food markets, restaurants and pubs. It is very close to the balcony of Europe. Impressive is the view from the balcony early in the morning at sunrise and views of the pool with portero. We will be happy to recommend to our friends in the apartment that offers all the conditions for rest and relaxation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We loved our time in Nerja and this apartment was the perfect location. Close to the beaches and also a pleasant walk to the Balcon de Europa. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the beach umbrella was a great help on those sunny days. We enjoyed exploring Nerja and also Frigiliana just a few km away. Granada was also only an hour's drive too. If you can, go to see the Alhambra (but buy tickets in advance). Manolo the portero was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Susan, the owner was wonderful to work with. We are home after a wonderful three weeks in Spain! Our time in Nerja was GREAT! After 8 days of museums, palaces, and cathedrals, it was so nice to slow down the pace. Your apartment was comfortable and convenient. We caught up on laundry, naps, and books and enjoyed the cool Mediterranean waters every day. Loved Nerja and your apartment. Great location...close to major beaches and the town itself. Apt..was clean and well stocked kitchen. Loved the balcony...had breakfast there every morning. Very cute apartment with a beutifully remodeled kitchen, excellent location, and comfortable swimming pool. Very close to the beach too! Our daughter really enjoyed the pool, and we enjoyed being able to walk to the Balcone de Europa with such ease.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I loved my stay at this unit so much that I returned again on my next trip to Spain, and I plan to return again! The location could not be better as the prime beach in Nerja is just outside the front gate and down the steps. Also, it is far enough from the nightlife to be quiet and peacful. The bars and restaurants are only a short walk away, as are other amenities such as the English Laundry, the large grocery store, (the small grocery store is just across the street!), fresh fruit/vegetable market, travel agencies and the bus stop on the main highway (take the bus anywhere: Malaga, Grenada, etc). And the view of the Mediterranean from the balcony is beautiful!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, 8 year old daughter, and I absolutely loved this cozy home away from home. We vacationed here for 10 days. The balcony was spacious and the view was breathtaking. Everything was very conveniently located; walking distance to top notch restaurants, strolls to two lovely beaches, and plenty of local grocery shopping and gift shopping. We loved the pool and our daughter enjoyed the play structure and spacious lawn (where she and her new friends played tons of soccer). The grounds were very well maintained and the building/condo was very clean and comfy. There was even a pharmacy, gym, and playground just a couple blocks away. The premises were safe and peaceful. Needless to say, we look forward to our next stay at this lovely and charming home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

There's a reason that the Parador is located where it is. It's because of the privileged view and access that the location offers. This apartment, in Edificio Acapulco, has the same view and access to both sides of Nerja, the historic downtown center and the major Burriana beach zone. This makes this apartment very hard to beat for convenience and panoramic views. From this apartment, we loved eating meals or sipping wine or having morning coffee out on the balcony. At night, we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the Mediterranean's waves. The lovely garden and pool also ad to the the ambiance and charm. For a group of 4 to 5 people, potentially 6 if you are adventurous, this apartment has everything you would need. Plenty of kitchenware and dishes, a flat screen TV with satellite channels for all languages, and all other essentials for vacation living. Other neighbors in the building were pleasant and cheerful-- a healthy mix of english and non-english speaking travelers or locals. You cannot help but become friends with the building supervisor (portero) Manolo, who can lend a helping hand if necessary. There's an elevator, making it accessible for all ages and circumstances. I'd go back in a second. Thanks Edificio Acapulco!
