My friends and I were originally going to book a place in Frisco and drive to the mountains each day for skiing. Luckily I decided to look at places on the slopes. Couldn't have been a better choice. We ended up really enjoying our stay. Two people got bunk beds, 1 person on the couch, and 2 people in the master bed. We enjoyed the amenities very much. The hot tub is right downstairs. Close enough where we walked barefoot to with just our bathing suits on. We ended up making chili in the crockpot and using the supplied ipod dock stereo (playing sgt peppers lonely heart club on repeat). The lift is only a few minute walk up the street and 4oclock run takes you right to the back of the condo. You can also purchase passes at that lift. Would recommend and come back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We will certainly return to this wonderful condo. It is clean and updated, and restful after a day of skiing or shopping. Extremely convenient. Very comfortable, from the beds to the fluffy towels. Pretty scenery from the picture windows. Big gas grill on the balcony. Everything we could hope for in a vacation rental. Thank you so much!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a perfect stay at the cozy condo! Elizabeth was very helpful in answering all of our questions promptly and accurately. The condo was lovely; clean, well stocked and VERY comfortable. The location was great, right on Four O'Clock run and very easy ski in. A short walk to the Snowflake lift each morning. The mountain was awesome and the snow was fabulous!! Very convenient location to town. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. Try the margueritas at Angels Hollow! We couldn't have asked for anything more! We hope to be back next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family loved staying in the "cozy condo" at Double Eagle this winter. LAYOUT: With bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends of the condo, the layout is ideal for families with children as well as adults that want to be together, but also like to have some privacy. FURNISHINGS: Everything is modern and comfortable (i.e. none of the old/dirty furniture/carpets you sometimes find in rentals). The beds and pillows are comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen and dining room are well-appointed we everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. The sofa/armchair in the living room are clean and comfortable; they face the fireplace and big flat screen TV with cable/dvd/blu-ray. BATHROOMS: The bathrooms look like they were just renovated; it may be inconsequential to some people, but after bathing in some rentals with old tubs, dubious shower curtains, and mismatched thin old towels I really appreciated being able to luxuriate in a hot shower in either of the two spotless glass/tile showers after a long ski day or a good soak in the hot tub. LOCATION: It was a real treat to be able to put on our ski boots in the mud room and walk to the ski lift without the hassles of parking or bus rides (especially with small children). Skiing to within 100 feet of our front door was nothing less than magical! It was a short walk to the grocery store, restaurants, bars, etc. of Breckenridge (which, in my opinion, is the best town in the Rockies; much more fun than the typical Intrawest artificial town of Vail or Beaver Creek). When the kids got tired or when we had lots of bags to carry it was nice to have the option to jump on the free bus that dropped us at the doorstep. OWNERS: It is very clear that the owners take great care of their condo and want their guests to feel truly at home. Little things like the games, DVDs, sleds, special (thick!) hot tub towels, etc. that they left for us made us feel more like than invited guests than renters. We hope to come back to the "cozy condo" very soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

"Thank you so much for opening your "cozy condo" to our family. We had a wonderful time and made some great memories during our stay here. Not only did we have a great time skiing as a family, but also enjoyed sledding, and playing games in front of the fire while watching the skiers fly by. We were even lucky enough to see a beautiful red fox outside our window."Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
