This unique Kauai vacation rental cottage is located on Kauai's North Shore in Haena not far from Hanalei, Tunnel's Beach, Princeville Resort, and the trail head to the Napali Coast. Kauai rental cottage, ideal for those looking for a Hawaii eco-tourism vacation, is separate from the main rental house and is a spacious and very unique and sturdy structure called a yurt.
The overall atmosphere of this North Shore Kauai vacation rental is bright and cheerful with all the modern comforts and conveniences, while giving the guest the feeling of being closer to nature than a traditional Kauai rental home or condo. It has 12 foot high ceilings in the center and lots of floor space (approximately 500 square feet). Letting in plenty of sunshine are several large windows and a skylight in the center of our rental cottage. The floors are polished white pine.
The cross ventilation, thanks to the trade winds coming in over the ocean, is excellent and carries in the fragrant smell of plumerias and other tropical flowers on the property. There is a kitchen that has everything you will need for tropical dining except a stove. There is also a breakfast bar and a dining area and an entertainment center with lots of books and games.
The cottage also has a bathroom with a tub and shower, a comfortable queen size bed, a TV/VCR, a stereo, several small appliances, and a telephone. There is a comfortable couch and a chair and writing desk in the living area.
