The flat was perfectly equpped for a one week stay, spotlessly clean and included wireless internet which functionned very well. A small supermarket across the road along with a Starbucks meant we could eat breakfast and the occasional dinner in the flat before going to the theatre. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended to friends. Ten minute walk to either Sloane Square or South Kensington tube stops and 15 minutes to Hyde Park for wonderful long walks. Lots of lovely places to eat nearby (highly recommend the Markham Inn) and it's delightful to just wander through charming Chelsea streets. Flat had all the amenities we needed - the bedroom was small however it had a comfortable queen size bed and large closet for storage. Great cross ventilation since the flat is a corner unit. Owner was very helpful in our email exchanges before booking and after,. Highly recommendDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Let me echo all the previous reviews. Great location, helpful owner, clean, small, tidy flat. The only problem we encountered was the unseasonably hot weather and the fact the flat has no air conditioning. There are two portable fans, but the only certain way to deal with the heat was to open the windows. The flat faces Sloane Ave., heavy with traffic noise. So much for a restful nights sleep. With normal weather expected, its the perfect place. Have fun!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed at this apartment from April 17th through the 24th. The location is great, not a touristic location, across the street there is a grocery store "Sainsbury" and a "Starbuck", every morning my husband would go to grocery store to pick-up a warm bread and I would pick-up latte coffees at Starbuck, good way to start the day. The apartment is as pictured, it's small (for us from America) but very well appointed, for two people it's great (for more than two, I guess it would feel crowdy). Everything functionning very well: WIFI, washing/drying machine, stove and oven. The bed is particularly confortable. We appreciated having a phone in the apartment (feeling more secure when you are over sixtees). The owner was easy to deal with by e-mail, once in London, we didn't meet with her, I believe she was out of town. This apartment is also situated in a large apartments building (Nell Gwynn House) with a reception on the ground floor, so if there is an emergency I believe that they can always help you out. The queen bed is particularly confortable. We really enjoyed our stay in London and we recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

The flat is as pictured - cozy, comfortable and warm in winter with all the conveniences of home. We had 3 adults for 3 nights. The apartment would be too small for 4 people. Bedroom is small, queen bed takes up the whole room but is very comfortable and the comforter keeps you very warm at night. Grocery store directly across the street and open til 11pm. Concierge desk in the building is very convenient for pickup and drop off of keys and helpful with directions and restaurants, etc.. We found the S. Kensington metro stop to be easiest, about 8-10 minute walk directly down one street. The street is a little busy at night and the flat is on the corner of the building facing the street, but noise at night was not too bad. Its in a residential section of the city and a bit less touristy, which is nice to come back to the evening. Many restaurants in easy walking distance. Highly recommend Gaucho just up the street - our best meal. Queen's Head pub just around the corner for a beer with the locals. Caroline was extremely helpful during the reservation process and very prompt with replies. Need to pay via PayPal which was new to me, but very easy. This was our first rental in London, but overall a great experience. Thanks to Caroline.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. This is a lovely apartment, nicely furnished/decorated, kitchen and bathroom up to date, very clean and well maintained. Has everything you need. The Front Desk is helpful and friendly. Great location, market and Starbuck's within the block. Owner is a pleasure to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed for a week at the house ( perfect for a couple) and was happy about the choice. We had made a one week travelcard so it was easy getting to South Kensington tube station( 10 mins by walk ) and sloane square( 15 mins walk) with the bus which stops right in front of the appartment . You have a starbucks and sainsbury opposite the appartment so you have everything you want for your stay. We did not know that the appartment did not have AC/cooling but we had a table fan and it served in keeping the house cool. Another Table fan would have been perfect but by the end of the week, it was back to London cold weather and we were happy in the quilts. Most imp thing to mention is the land lady Caroline. Our dealing were straight forward and fair and although we had a difficult situation in terms of payment, she was very co-operative and accomodating. I would go back and stay at her place not only becasue of the house ( which was in pristine condition and exactly as shown in the pictures and not to mention the new bathroom) but becasue of Caroline who I found was professional and nice. Thanks Caroline.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

My daughter, sister, and I stayed in this wonderful flat for a week in March. The flat was bigger than I expected, and had great appeal. The queen bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and had really nice linens and pillows. The kitchen and the bathroom were well-equipped with nice towels and modern appliances. We also liked having a fan provided as well as a haidryer, adaptors, an iron, shampoo, etc. The building was very attractive, and it was great having porters to answer questions during our stay. The South Kensington and Sloane Square tube stops were an easy walk from the flat. Starbucks and Sainsbury market were right across the street. Shopping nearby was fun and there were lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood. We would love to stay in the flat again!! Unbeatable location: you feel part of a small town while being 10 min from downtown and 5 min to parks and Kensington palace. Chic neighbourhood, plenty of shops, lots of green, 5 min from riverside walk (great for joggers and walkers), a supermarket across the street, close to undergound and buses. Building: correct, but with the huge advantage of having porters or doormen at reception desk. Apartment decorated smartly and with a touch of elegance, a "10" in furniture (I miss that bed!!!), great heating, absolutely all the gadgets you have at home (including a base for your IPod...). Plus, owner is a lovely person. My next visit to London, I hope to stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The lady we rented from was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. Upon our arrival the front desk which is manned 24 hours a day welcomed us and gave us our keys. The flat very conveniently located, modern, comfortable and clean. And it was indeed quiet thanks to double glazing. The supermarket across from our building made food shopping a breeze. We can highly recommend this flat to other travellers who want to enjoy London.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

My Mom and I recently rented this apartment and it was lovely. The location is fantastic as it is easily accessible from two tube stations. It is a clean and warm space with all the amenities of home (i.e., dishwasher, washer/dryer, computer access, etc). Additionally, there is great shopping, eating and sightseeing nearby. If in London again, we will definitely seek to rent this flat!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
