We are in the midst of our second stay here. The condo is very comfortable and has everything a guest could desire in a home away from home. It is well stocked with linens, towels and dishes. Alpenglow is in a great location, overlooking lone peak and the ski resort. You can easily drive to the hill or catch the shuttle within a few minutes. It is a delight to communicate with John the owner. He is extremely accommodating and offers great customer service, always checking to make sure things are going well or if you need anything. We love staying here and look forward to the opportunity to come back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

This place was excellent for our family of 5. The location was wonderful along with catching the shuttle bus which is less than a block away. Very convenient! The views were incredible! The condo was very clean and had all of the comforts of a home away from home. We made cookies and pizza's during our stay. The kitchen has everything you need plus more. The garage is oversized so we didn't have to take our cargo box off of our suv. My only complaint would be there is a sofa and chair in the living room. It was hard for all of us to watch a movie at night. Someone was on the floor. Also, an added tv in one of the bedrooms would of been nice. We would definitely rent this condo again. Our children are already asking to go back. Thank you John!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

We just returned from spending 25 nights in this lovely townhouse. It was definitely "home away from home"... only with much better views! We have wintered in Big Sky before and never thought anything of the drive from Towne Center BUT now that we have stayed in Alpeglow, the location can not be beat! We drove to the hill every morning, we had three kids in tow and it was easier but the Skyline shuttle picks you up right at the end of the street and drops you off at the base in 7 minutes... how do you top that for convenience? It really is a fantastic location.... you can watch the snowcats all night long. Nothing like waking up looking at LonePeak from the Master Suite. The condo itself has a thoughtful layout, lot's of consideration for storage and a wonderful laundry room to keep everything organized. The living room is cozy and comfortable for nights of relaxation by the fireplace. The owners have provided a video library and games, although we didn't use them once. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything a gourmet chef could require... crockpot, waffle iron and even a kitchen aid mixer! The full size fridge and freezer allow you to stock up with groceries from Costco in Bozeman... and there is TONS of pantry space. It was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen, while looking out the expansive windows of Big Sky resort. The rooms are comfortable, I have never stayed in a home with so many options for bedding, linens and towels! There are large closets and drawer options in every room. You have no excuse to not be organized during your stay. The hot tub is wonderful, nothing like relaxing in there at the end of the day and watching the snow fall. My favorite place though was the balcony off the dining room. A few afternoons it was pleasant enough (in January!) to sit in the sunshine and enjoy the moment, away from the business of mountain village and yet close enough to still feel like you are part of the resort. Our boys LOVED playing in the backyard in all the deep untracked snow! The owners truly have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and if not, they were fantastic to provide for us. Upon our arrival, I casually commented that we were short on hangers, it really wasn't a big deal but within two days they had new hangers delivered to the condo! Although we didn't require it, the condo has a pack n play, an adorable little booster seat/highchair and even a baby gate.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

Our family stayed here over New Years and loved it! The condo was generously equiped with everything you need and all new! the beds were extremely comfortable and the hot tub views outstanding. The shuttle bus is right outside the door which worked out great -- you really don't need a car. The owners were very generous leaving us with DVD's, video games and lots of fluffy towels! I'd recommend this place to anyone!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

My family and I rented this townhome over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The listing description was very accurate as to location and amenities. In fact I would say the actual condo is much better in person than via the pictures on the site. Everything is brand new, there were lots of linens and the property was clean and well maintained. We have a 13 month old baby and they had a new pack n play and a new high chair which was so helpful. Beds and bedding were very nice. The owner was very responsive and helped us with all of our questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend this townhome to a friend or relative. If ever back to Big Sky, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

John's condo in Alpenglow is absolutely beautiful. We were thrilled when we arrived- the place is more lovely even than the photos had shown. There are three spacious bedrooms and baths. The Master Suite with adjacent bathroom is lovely. The hot-tub was perfect- clean, easy to use, and with a perfect view of the moon rising over lone peak. Alpenglow is superconvenient to the mountain on the shuttle- or a quick 10-12 minute walk to the base. Shuttle also available to moonlight basin. This condo had everything we were looking for in a vacation rental, including the details- well equipped kitchen, soft sheets, comfortable bedding, nice TV set-up (including a TV in the master suite)... I felt spoiled by the amazing piles of fluffy white towels waiting for us in every bathroom.... A+ to the linen service. Thanks for everything, We hope we will be back to Big Sky soon.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
