The Getaway at Little River is a spaceous yet cozy retreat to get away to for refreshing and relaxing mind, body and spirit. The cabin is tastefully decorated and has lots of windows to enjoy the view of the river, wildlife and nature.
The Getaway is less than a year old so everything in it is brand new. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, a flat top stove, ice maker, microwave oven, coffee maker and more.
Just a few steps off the deck is a large concrete patio dressed out with a huge stone fireplace, table and chairs, and a wood burning grill. Just outside of the great room is a large deck overlooking the river with a table/chairs and an extra large hot tub. A great place to read or sit and appreciate this quiet little part of God's Country.
You will have your own river frontage into river for easy access. Little River is crystal clear all the way to the bottm. Just in front of the cabin is a shallow area for swimming and playing. Down the river a bit is a deeper area good for fishing and canoeing.
The swimming hole is a fun place to take a dip in the cool water or just anchor out in the river and float your cares away on a tube or float. Maybe you would like to sit on the beach and soak up some sunshine or drop a line in the river and do a little fishing.
Just 30 - 40 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 20 minutes to the entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park, The Getaway is convenient in every way.

We rented the "Getaway" for the Memorial day weekend. This place is designed for adults in mind. We came to relax and relax we did. Most places offer things for the kids, this place offered things for the adults. The back porch has the best view of any I have ever seen. Looking at at theboulder wall each time I think I saw a different thing every time. The place was extremely clean and well taken care of and was located just outside of Maryville which made trips to get items or eat fast and easy. We trailered motorcycles which were close to all the main riding attractions. Our only drawback was not enough time. We will be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.
