Welcome to Bird Song! Well maintained and lovingly cared for by the owner as we are here over 5 weeks per year ourselves. Located in Indiantown Shores in a cul-de-sac, the home features 2 Master King suites, 1 Queen Bedroom with a shared bath with the fourth bedroom(2 twins). Every amenity has been provided for your exquisite vacation on Hatteras Island, including a hot tub nestled among the tree scape. Enjoy the beaches which are minutes away using either public access or off road driving ramps.
What makes this home so special is the nature and wildlife. Marsh views allow for enjoying the beauty God has given us. We have watched osprey nests as parents tend to their young and the first flight of their offspring. Birds fly up the canal that adjoins the property and we look down on the broad expanse of their wings. It is like being in a tree house. Kids love to fish off the small dock or launch the kayak from the dock.
This home was designed so that multi-generations can enjoy their time. The house is handicapped friendly with a ramp from the concrete pad to the first level and the elevator stops at all the interior levels. Upper master has larger doors for access and of course, who likes hauling groceries up three flights.
The Kitchen is equipped for most any need. The gas stove with convection/conventional oven makes cooking fun. A mini wine cooler is available for your use. A second refrigerator is located in the recreation room, both with ice makers.
Entertainment is what we like to do when we are vacationing here. There are 2 stereo surround speaker systems-one on upper level which has zones in the kitchen, great room, screened porch, deck and master bedroom and the second system is in the lower level recreation room(a great place for kids to watch movies, play games, and XBox. The great room has a 42" plasma TV and the recreation room has large LCD TV. Both have CD/DVD combos, while the upper great room has XM radio to listen in any of the zones and an iPod dock to play your favorites through the sound system. All bedrooms have TV/DVD/VCR units.
New in 2009 is the partnership of our Premier Property Services team from SHORE DETAILS which will ensure that your vacation home is cleaned and prepared for your vacation. They will provide linens, and pre-stock the house with trash bags, soaps, and dish detergent to get you started. They are also a phone call away to take care of any issues that may arise during your stay. SHORE DETAILS- Because "Details Matter". Concierge requests are available at an additional fee.

Why the Owner Chose FriscoMy husband is an avid bird watcher and we both love the beach. That is why this is the perfect mix for us. The beach is just minutes away and the bird watching couldn't be better. Our entire back view spans a marsh dedicated to osprey, igrets, water life, and song birds and the sounds of nature fill the air.

My husband's first trip to the beach was on our honeymoon over 35 years ago and we came to the Outer Banks. Our kids have always loved Hatteras Island and now bring their own friends to enjoy the beauty and nature that makes this area so special. We finally made the plunge to purchase a home here and later we built this dream home that has all the things we would love to have here in Harpers Ferry. We can't wait to get back here! This is the best neighborhood and our neighbors are now best friends. Come enjoy our paradise as we love to share our special oasis.
