It was Ben's first trip to the beach -- age 2-- and we had as much fun as he had. Your home is lovely and the location is WONDERFUL!! We are looking forward to coming again. Thank you for sharing your home. We had such a good time! The week was truly memorable.

Year two for the Kains in the fall back at your place. The creams and soft colors, Tina, continue to give pleasure. So many touches are special. Your online photos sold us on these spaces. My mother-in-law is 88 so we gave her the master bedroom and she is in heaven in there. The weather is crisp and clear and there is not a soul in sight on the beach. Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We wish we could leave than the typical hotel soap bar and fresh roll of toilet paper in each bath, but we are required to throw out everything each week. When you told Garrett on checkout that the drain was slow in the master shower they sent in a plumber. We arrived the next day and the shower is draining freely. We hope and encourage any guest who sees a maintenance issue to please call Garrett and tell them, otherwise we do not know. Garrett will send someone to fix it immediately or, if you do not want to be disturbed, they will fix it after you check out. We are glad you had a good time though.

We are visiting from far, far away . . .19 miles! We live in Panama City Beach, but enjoyed the change of scenery. We were concerned about the hot fall temps and the red tide but is all worked out just fine & we were rewarded with cool temps on Thursday. We enjoyed biking along the path on 30A and exploring the beautiful developments of Rosemary Beach, Sea Crest, Water, Sound, Seaside & Water Color. We also enjoyed Deer Lake & Grayton Beach State Parks. Our best meals were at Yianni's & the Terrace. Our favorite deli was Boardwalk Deli with its surprise water lill pnd, twisted salt pine & koi. We loved the comfortable beds & living room! The views were spectacular. There are only minor needed improvements: the drain in shower (master) was sluggish, we could have appreciated more substantial bath soap & extra toilet tissue. Other than those minor points, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for your hospitality.

I agree! It is a long haul up the stairs from the beach. I try to warn everyone we could throw a stone into the Gulf but we are 50 feet above the waterline so there are a lot of steps to climb on returning from the beach. That is why we built a wide secure stairway with landings and gentle lighting for night trips to the beach (turtle protective lighting of course!). There is an elevator in the building, but we have not figured out how to build one to the beach!

We enjoyed your beautiful spacious place. The view was wonderful from the inside AND the balcony. It was nice to retreat to the pool when the rip tides and jellyfish came! Angelina's has the world's best pizza and crab legs at Bayou Bill's were super good. The week was restful. Thanks so much! It was quite a hike getting back from the beach.

Thank you Mewhinney family for sharing your lovely beach place. It feels more like a "home" than a beach rental-- finally we've found such a place! It is decorated perfectly -- love the artwork, colors, slip covers and especially the kitchen tile. It has been so peaceful this week -- a novelty the week of the 4th. Everyone here is so friendly and respectful. The fireworks were excellent -- best-spot on the whole beach! Love not having a key -- all the #'s get a bit overwhelming but understand. However, note- Garrett Realty gave erroneous codes - your codes on frig. were accurate! Hope to stay again -- will tell friends.

Are these comments real?! My husband and I are amazed at the generosity of our guests. We have typed in every comment written in our guestbook in our home (including negative ones).
