  Our family spent a week in this condo and it was an awesome experience. I wish we could have stayed longer! The place was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and beach stuff - toys, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, etc. The kitchen also had a surprising number of spices for throwing something together, and more coffee filters than we could use in a year. Mornings at a beach, lunch somewhere, afternoon either sight seeing or at the pool. The grills were clean and well maintained, busy but we never had to wait to use one. Even the other guests and residents made us feel welcome. The staff were very friendly, the property was beautiful and in a great location for easy walking to various points in Lahaina, plenty of places to eat, shop, drink, or get a shave ice. Plus easy access to the highway to visit other parts of the island. On street parking was very easy to find too. Chris and Tania were easy to deal with and accommodating, allowing us a very late checkout for our redeye home so we got one last afternoon by the pool. It's going to be hard to beat this vacation. We loved it, and would absolutely stay here again, it is our first choice next time we visit Lahaina.

  We have stayed at Aina Nalu before but this was the first time we rented through VRBO and with private owners. We will always come here first, this was a great experience! The description and photos were accurate. Chris & Tania were so easy to work with and communication made setting up arrangements a breeze. They also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. When we arrived we met with their onsite greeter and got checked in quickly and he gave us advice you can only get from a local. We immediately felt like we were at home. The condo and the property were all clean and well-maintained. The condo had some personal touches that made it feel like more than just a rental. The beach toys in the condo were handy (snorkels, floaties, boogie boards, etc) and items left in the kitchen from previous renters made extra trips to the grocery store for spices and small items forgotten not necessary. Our daughter lives in NYC and was in California the weekend before we came to Maui and, since Hurricane Sandy made it impossible for her to get home, the extra bedroom made it convenient for her to join us for a couple of days. One of the first things you notice as you walk through the condo are the showers, the master shower is like walking into a cave, the water pressure was great, and the look of the tile great! We used the free WiFi, which was very easy to set up. The Aina Nalu resort is a great place to be. The saline pool is AWESOME and we loved having the hot tub, bbq's and peaceful surroundings. The location was so convenient. We could walk to Front Street in Lahaina and not have to deal with finding parking, which was really a benefit for Halloween night! There are a few things we would highly recommend doing while in Lahaina, one is the Maui Adventure Cruises snorkel trip to Lanai on their Super Raft (slip #11 Lahaina Harbor), the other is the Polynesian Canoe Adventures at 525 Front St for an outrigger canoe ride, riding the waves was such a rush! Also, grabbing a meal at Cool Cats in Lahaina is a must.

  I was in Maui with a few friends over Labor Day weekend for a wedding and Ainu Nala was the recommended condo complex. My friends and I very much enjoyed our stay at the condo and I'd definitely recommend renting this unit in particular. It is ideally situated 1blk from Front street w/lots of options for restaurants and shops (though not w/in walking distance to a proper sandy beach). The 2nd flr condo is conveniently located near the pool and parking lot w/out the noise of being too close. It is spacious and clean and comes with towels, dishes, free wifi, and etc. The best part was the snorkel gear, boogie boards and other water toys and flotation devices that came in handy on trips to the beach or pool. Another plus about this condo vs. other units are the twin beds in 1 room and sofa bed in the living room, which were perfect since our group was comprised of friends and not couples. Lastly, the owners and our greeter Mike were easy to reach if we had questions and we greatly appreciated their flexibility on check-out time.

  Chris and Tania's place was just perfect for our month on Hawaii. Great setting and so close to walk to everything in Lahaina. If we could only move in permanently!

  We were fortunate to find this unit was available for one of the weeks we were in Maui! It is a beautifully maintained unit. Everything - furniture, carpet, kitchen stuff, beds, linens, t.v. -- was fantastic! It was so nice that it all was in excellent working condition. Everything was immaculate and I am picky! Having an upstairs unit was much nicer than a downstairs unit (like we had the following week.) It seems bigger and you don't have ANY noise above you. Owners were great to coordinate with and we had a fabulous time!!! Pools are not heated and quite chilly, but other than that - 2 thumbs way up! I would definitely recommend this property!

  Our 12 Y.O son acts as our family's "travel agent" and did alot of research for us before we booked at the Aina Nalu. We had never used VRBO before. We were not disappointed. Everything was exactly as advertised - clean, well appointed condo (our teenagers loved having their own bathroom with the BIG shower), well stocked kitchen, in-suite laundry (Mom loved that). It was a treat to find a closet full of beach gear for our use - lawn chairs, snorkelling equipment, boogey boards, umbrellas. The grounds are so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed both pools - they were never crowded and we were always able to find empty lounge chairs. The Pavilion was perfect for outdoor dining. Mike was friendly and helpful and met us upon arrival, exactly as planned. As for Lahaina and the entire Island - what can I say except . . .it is a little piece of heaven on earth!

  We were very pleased w/the accomodations we had at Aina Nalu, and appreciated how helpful the owners were as we prepared for our trip! We traveled for a friend's wedding in Lahaina, and the condo location was a perfect spot for our whole party. It was a couple blocks from the beach and in the center of downtown Lahaina. I definitely would recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Maui! The unit was clean and the accomodations were just as we hoped. Thanks for such a lovely experience!

  I love Maui and lived there for five years so always love going home. Tania and Chris' place is comfortable, centrally located, and within walking distance of Lahaina's many great restaurants, Front Street for lovely sunsets and close to grocery stores. It's a great condo to stay with a group of friends who can choose to relax by one of the two pools, walk down into Lahaina for pupus and happy hour cocktails, or drive off to explore one of the many fabulous locations around the island. We had no complaints and would definitely recommend their ohana as a base for your dream Maui vacation.

  Tania, This vacation is the best vacation we ever had! Your apt is really in good location. And you get everything for us! We did heli ride, parasail, surfing class. And we swam with big turtle in a snorkeling trip! My baby loved the baby beach. We enjoyed strolling down the front street every night. Weather, food, all are perfect. We enjoyed so much that it made us so hard to leave. The swimming pool area is fabulous. Well, the last night I was stung by a bee near pool. My arm get infection.:( but beside that, everything is so good! Thank you very much! I'll let my friends know my experience. I think some of them will want to book your unit!

  My mum, sister, niece, daughter and I had an amazing time on Maui, and found Tania and Chris's condo to be an absolutely perfect place for our two small babies (aged 2 months and 8 months). The condo itself was beautiful and modern, and we really loved the bathrooms and kitchen. The bedrooms worked out perfectly for the infants, and we had one in each room to make bedtimes (and night wake-ups!) easier. The living room was an excellent place for them to play and for us to relax, and the condo was where we spent the hottest hours of the day. The property was also gorgeous, and the cabanas were perfect for keeping the girls in the shade. We spent many hours in them, and don't know what we'd have done without them, as it was really hot during our stay. The proximity of the condo to the grocery store, shopping centers and Front Street was excellent and every night I took my 2 month old for a walk along the boardwalk, which she absolutely loved. We were so enamored by our stay that we actually looked into extending it by a couple of days, but the flights were booked. My mum has already been talking about returning, and in an email to me the other day said that going back to Aina Nalu would be like "going home". What a compliment! She's already been looking into flights for both this summer vacation and next spring break (she's a teacher). We also enjoyed meeting Mike and found him to be very friendly and helpful. We were exhausted when we arrived (after two flights with two babies) but he gave us a wonderful tour and made us laugh and we felt immediately at home. We would all recommend this condo to anyone, especially those travelling with babies, and look forward to our next visit!
