House was just as shown in photos took 5 friends and wife for a week in Atl all were impressed and loved the house, every detail was taken care of , nice selection of books, dvd's. kitchen was stocked with spices and very easy to cook for a group. plenty of pots and pans and dishes and glasses. very easy to travel to almost any place in atlanta and suburbs that you needed without getting on major expressways and it's traffic. there were 7 of us and we had room for 3-4 more easily without crowding. i would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone visiting atlanta and wanting to stay in lap of luxury, wish i could have stayed a few more weeks but i promised my wife we will go back, thank you Doug for allowing use to stay in your beautiful home. this home is perfect for group of adult of a family with kids it has something for everyone, if i could i'd give it 6 stars. oh i forgot the beds were so comfortable made it hard to get out in the mourning and master bath is to die for.Did you find this review helpful? Recently, part of our Church spent time in Atlanta for a retreat and ministry work. This home was beautiful and perfectly suited for adults and youth. Moreover, the neighborhood is safe and easy to find your way around. Lastly, we are greatful for the professional communication of the property owner throughout the rental process and for the opportunity to stay at this home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We enjoyed everything about our four days in this lovely home. It is well-located and very well-appointed, in both major and minor ways. We had everything we needed (and then some--wish we had a bathroom like the master bath at home!!), and it was a perfect "home base" for our family and friends who were in town for a wedding. The first floor of the house is ideally suited for entertaining. The integrated music system is a phenomenal extra that added to the ambiance of the house. The two-zone cooling system makes it so the house is a comfortable temperature throughout. We also found thr beds and other furniture very comfortable. The large yard and lovely landscaping enhance the property's feel of being an isolated estate. It was also nice to be so close to parks and a MARTA station. We often rent vacation homes, and this is one of the best (and biggest) we've ever stayed in.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My sorority sisters and I had a great time during our stay in Atlanta. From the moment we arrived we were amazed at home wonderful the house was. The inside was no different! There was more than enough space for us and everything we needed was there for us. The house is located in a great quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and shopping where minutes away so we didnt even have to travel far from the house. We received great customer service throughout the renting process and all the details that were shared prior to our stay were accurate and to what we saw once we got there. We would most certainly recommend this property and will use it when we travel back to atlanta in the future!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I had to plan for a bachelorette weekend in Atlanta. We had a wedding party of about 8 ladies that came into town. The house was perfect for sleeping accomodations and hosting the actual bridal shower. The house and the property were emmaculate, the listing was straight on regarding convenience to area attractions and convenience to shops and restuarants. I am in love with Little Five Points, and when I realized it was right up the street, was in absolute heaven. I have recommended this property already and will continue to do so. Would definitely stay here again. Also, the owner was very helpful, when I misplaced instructions on how to get into the home upon arrival. Awesome time, awesome place.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We needed a place to stay in Atlanta for a family wedding over a long weekend. This house was perfect. So much nicer than a hotel room; we had plenty of room to spread out. There are parks all around the area as well as restaurants and stores. The only problem is there is soooo much traffic to deal with. This house is well maintained and clean. The garden is pretty and serene but could use some sprucing up as well as some more seating. There is a terrace in the front of the house that would have been nice to relax on but there was no seating out there either. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

A group of friends and my family recently travelled to Atlanta, there were 14 of us including 2 small children and we stayed at this house for 4 days. It's a beautiful house inside and out, it was very clean, spacious, had everything we needed, and the garden was just breathtaking. It was so nice that my friends were taking photos around the house and we didn't want to leave :-) I would definitely recommend this house to anyone, and I think it's worth every penny. If we ever go back to Atlanta again, we will consider renting this house again. Also the house location is close to everything, it's about 3 minutes away from a Publix, very convenient.Owner response: Thanks for reviewing. If you have photos make sure and email them to me so I can put on our website. It is truly stunning this time of year with the azaleas and dogwoods. It's the perfect time while the blooming plants and trees are out and the temperature is perfect! Those of you in the area be sure to visit the Druid Hills Home Tour Apr 20-22 2012 where our Druid Hills home is on the tour! (the Boxwood)

My family got together recently to celebrate my father's 80th. We wanted a nice get-a-way where we would be close to everything and yet have some space and luxury that a hotel just could not provide for a family of five. We were amazed at how the house perfectly met all our needs. The kitchen is very well appointed. The master suite gave my husband and I the kind of escape and privacy we so wanted yet close enough to the kids. Our children loved the trampoline and the nearby parks. I highly recommend this property-we hope to be back in the spring!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

Due to repair work being done in our home, we were in search of a place to celebrate the holidays with our family in Atlanta, and hoping to avoid the "hotel" experience. This home was the perfect solution. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the location. For those of you who rent this property in the future, don't miss the Fernbank Museum experience, as well as the charming downtown Decatur area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners.
