Walk to Craigville Beach, Kennedy Compound, Melody Tent, and Main Street in Downtown Hyannis with quaint shops, restaurants and Hyannis Harbor. Take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. Breath taking view of Hyannis Port Harbor. There are sidewalks so you can walk, take a run, or bike ride to Craigville Beach and the restaurants along the ocean. 5 Bikes are available for your use, along with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels,boogie boards, coolers, Wireless Internet & ipod dock. Flat screen TVs, all new furniture, hardwood floors, open floor plan. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. French doors lead you from the kitchen to a patio with gas grill & outdoor shower. Large grassy yard.

Craigville beach, located on Nantucket Sound, is one of the largest and most popular on Cape Cod. The water is a very pleasant temperature and the gentle swells are refreshing compared to more placid Cape waters. It is generally free of seaweed and rocks, as well. There are lifeguards and bathhouses in season. Places to eat right across the street.The long beach and foamy surf make for beautiful walks in quieter seasons.

My family (husband, 3 teen daughters and mother-in-law) and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the house. The kitchen is very well supplied, we cooked a full Thanksgiving meal with no problems. This was actually our second time renting this house. The first time was April 2011 and I think we may have been the first renters because the house seemed brand new. Even after a year, the house still seems brand new! Very well maintained and supplied. The location is great. We haven't been there for real beach weather but still go down to Craigville beach which is a beautiful beach just a couple of minutes away. Also just down the street is one of our favorite restaurants, Craigville Mexican and Pizza. Sounds weird but its a great combination - something for everybody. Joe is very prompt with paperwork and deposit returns. I've never had any problem getting a hold of him. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again or to recommend it to a friend. I've been meaning to write a review for this property for some time... Our family stayed here over April vacation and could not have been more pleased! We generally opt for high-end resorts and tend to be very discerning. This home is brand new, very tastefully decorated, and pristine. Basic supplies were all provided, cookware/utensils were new, as were all appliances. The location was great- quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, ferry, and restaurants. The owners were readily available and in-touch during our stay. They also had left bicycles and misc. games for use. We were there in June, 2011 and it was just wonderful. Beautiful accomodations and a bike ride to the beach. Excellent price for a full house. Right in the middle from Boston to Provincetown and all the attractions in between. Can even go for an enjoyable walk. Lovely area - comfortable and quiet.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Hard to say enough. Brand new home, great location about 1 mile from Craigville beach ($15 to park on weekdays; $20 on weekends), this place included all the amenities you would need in any home. Even had bikes for the kids, beach gear (umbrellas, chairs, toys, etc). Easy to access shopping (a mall is 5 miles away). Luke’s Beer and Wine was a great find, along with Trader Joe’s and Stop and Shop. Inside, the place was spotless. We didn’t need to bring anything as it was all there including the gear for the BBQ, an outdoor shower, large property for the kids to run around in. The only thing we did bring was a pack n play and a high chair for our 15 month old. Otherwise, HD TV in LR and MBR, wireless (very good response), DVD (plus some titles) included. The owner was available on his cell should we need access. Highly recommend this property, hope to return next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.
