My husband and I just returned from a one week stay at this lovely condo, and I was very sad to leave! It was the nicest condo we have ever stayed in and made our vacation just as wonderful as our favorite destination - Maui!! (which is saying alot!!) The owner was very nice to deal with as was her mother who met us upon arrival!! Thanks so much! We hope to return soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had an amazing time in Vernon at this very beautiful condo. The pictures do not even begin to show how wonderful this condo is. We were so happy and comfortable in the luxurious beds, the view is amazing and very close to everything. The owners are amazing, so kind, and helpful it was truly a perfect place, only regret is we couldn't stay longer. Any future visits to Vernon, we will be staying here - won't even look for another place - LOVED IT!!! Thank you so much Kathryn and Eileen!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Fabulous condo and fabulous owner. The location is stellar with wonderful lakefront views. The home is very well stocked with high-end appliances and well appointed bedding, furniture etc. It is the type of condo that you will book on your calendar for return visits!!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

My husband and I and another couple had the pleasure of staying at this property for 3 days this year. The space was awesome! We couldn't believe how large the unit was and how comfortable we were. The bed were some of the best I have slept in, just like my own at home! The phots don't do the view justice! You can see for miles from the living room window! The owners were very helpful and responsive to answer any questions we had. We loved the wine tours that we did and would recommend a trip to Sparkling Hill Resort!!!! Thanks for great accommodations!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We just returned from a fantastic stay in this modern, luxury condominium and I cannot speak highly enough about our experience there. From my first contact with the owners (who are very professional and easy to deal with) to my "love at first sight" in seeing the condo in person (which is even more stunning than the pictures portray), we were absolutely thrilled with the choice we had made in booking this place. We could even bring my little cat with us, which was a big plus. We looked at various options, including the much pricier "Sparkling Hills Resort" and "Predator Ridge", but you could either get a nice/small room at one of these resorts or enjoy a really spacious, private and beautifully appointed condo with stunning lake views from almost all windows for less. We also liked the fact that we could cater to ourselves and have breakfast on the lakefront patio in the morning in our bathrobes if we wanted to. This was a very easy decision for us. In addition, the location close to several nearby beaches/parks, downtown and other local attractions was terrific. I have rented quite a few places on VRBO and have stayed in a lot of high end hotels with work and can tell you that this was by far the best place we have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of everything, including lovely linens and bathrobes, an extremely comfortable king size master bed, spa bathrooms and big screen plasma tvs to enjoy, if you can take your eyes of the view, that is! This is in a small/boutique building surrounded by lakefront homes, so very quiet and we even met the neighbour who maintains the building and he was wonderful and extremely helpful with his recommendations of things to do in the area. We ate at "Little Tex", a very small tex-mex place with fabulous food and also enjoyed time spent at some local orchards/bee farms. Vernon is a gorgeous spot and offers everything for the outdoor enthusiast with miles of hiking trails, boating, and skiiing at Silver Star nearby. We loved our experience staying in this home so much we are booking for next year. Do yourself a favour and experience this for yourselves...Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We came to ski with the family (2 teenagers). Love the area, great pet walks nearby, sillverstar skiing 30min. Large modern space, outstanding view, Hosts were very helpful. Excellent value when compared with SIlverstar. Vernon....could use some help!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This Vernon condo is the ultimate in luxury and convenience. It has every amenity, in fact in is better outfitted than my condo at home. It is done tastefully, chic and comfortable. After an amazing sleep in the king size bed, every morning begins with a breathtaking view of the lake. The unobstructed view of Okanagon lake can be enjoyed while making dinner, enjoying cocktails a few with friends or quietly reading a book in front of the fire. I have thoughly enjoyed my winter weekends up in Vernon, I just hope I can book in for the summer!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We spent Xmass 2010 at this new listing and loved it, the owner was accommodating and not intrusive. It was nice to have such a clean, vibrant, open concept, modern design. Has bedding for 4 not 6, - but has enough room if you have your own cot etc. The photos are great, but the place is better than the pics, and I would definitely recommend this property to others. We skiied at Silverstar everyday for the week and it was about 35 minutes to get to the hill, and was a fantastic getaway from home. Again - great place, fantastic owners, hopefully continues to be this excellent - will stay again when in Vernon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

About the owner: Hello name is Kathryn. I own a management consulting firm in Vancouver. I own this property with my business partner Stefanie Klassen, a real estate executive. We bought this property in Vernon as we wanted a second home where we can enjoy snowboarding at Silver Star and boating on the Okanagan. The private boat slip included with the suite is ideal! Mostly, I wanted to be closer to my family who live in the Okanagan, including my mom, a well established Realtor with Royal LePage Vernon. During the dates I we are not staying there myself, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
