My extend family and I stayed at Bob and Pat's great house on Lake Wentachee for a long weekend. We had a great time in the snow and loved how close the house was to Steven's Pass cross country and downhill ski areas. The hot tub with the amazing view of the snow covered mountains and gorgeous lake was great to come home to. We were six adults and one baby and the house provided us with a ton of space. We cooked great big breakfasts and dinners and the kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and type of pot we needed. No need to worry about running out of place settings here! The layout of the house is great for multiple families to have a little space to themselves and it worked well for our baby. We're already trying to figure out how to return for a summer visit!

If i had to describe our experience at the house i would call it RELAXING! we had a wonderful time, enjoyed the view, ate a lot, danced, drank, played games, went kayaking, barbequed, and most of all enjoyed the hot tub. The house is made perfectly for those who like beautiful view and some relaxation out of their busy schedules. Also, the parking space was plenty. Overall it was a great experience and we would like to visit once again. Thank you for everything!

This waterfront home is an excellent choice for anyone that is looking to get away for a weekend or an extended vacation. The home has great views from multiple rooms! It is comfortable and inviting, and has everything needed for a great stay. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy. Our choice of fun that weekend was cross country skiing at some of the nearby trails. After a hard days play, we stoked the fire, poured a glass of wine, relaxed and played board games! This home is charming and inviting. I would love to make a return visit!

What memories we created this past weekend at such a cozy cabin on a beautiful lake with lots of fresh snow! This house really set the tone for bonding time and we all cannot wait to return at any season. We played games, listened to music, watched football, hot tubbed, took long walks, went snow shoeing to Hidden Lake, cooked, and just plain enjoyed every minute together. This house has everything you can think of and great serving platters, bowls, stock pots, you name it they have it! Bob and Pat are wonderful at giving suggestions and made this a very stress free adventure. A must visit!!!!

I've stayed at a variety of vacation homes, but nothing has come close to matching the superb calm and relaxation we all found at this lakeside cabin. The layout of the bedrooms affords everyone a great night sleep, the common areas are cozy and inviting, and the hot tub is simply transcendent while looking out on snowy mountains and the placid lake. I intend on making this a yearly trip, as I cannot think of anything else I could want out of a cabin experience. And Bob and Pat are so kind and accommodating. They make you feel so welcome, going the extra mile whenever necessary to make your stay more enjoyable. I hope you can stay here at some point! You most certainly won't regret it.

I can't say enough good things about this house. The layout was perfect for multiple couples and children, with two of the bedrooms being on the top floor and one of the bedrooms being on the lower level. It was the perfect combination of private spaces and group space (on the main level) for eating and hanging out). The kitchen was well stocked with all the goods we needed. The description and photos are completely accurate. The setting is beautiful, right on Lake Wenatchee with views of the mountains. The water was freezing even in August, so we were thankful for the kayak. We also brought our stand-up paddle board - what a perfect place to do that! We appreciated the lake-side fire pit for smore-making, as well as the lakeside hammock. The owners could not have been more responsive in the booking process and afterwards, giving advice on where to do grocery shopping, etc. I highly recommend going river tubing in Leavenworth while you are there. This is a special place and I hope to return for many years to come.

The views were spectacular, the setting divine, the activities abundant. This was the perfect place for our large family. The kayaks were a blast and got a lot of use. There are wonderful hiking trails nearby and Dirty Face is true to it's name. There are good mountain/road biking areas. The kitchen is plenty large enough for several cooks! We had a great time. This is the perfect place for those that enjoy an outdoor adventure.

The most obviously striking feature of this rental property is its gorgeous location right on Lake Wenatchee. One could spend hours absorbed in watching the lake and its fluctuations due to changes in light and weather. There is a wall of windows in the main living area upstairs which provide a grand view, binoculars also provided. We saw two river otter sunning themselves on the dock one morning, and also observed geese, ducks and raptors during our stay. We all enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub, admiring the beautiful scenery around us. There are plenty of other things to do in the area as well, in all seasons, and it's really an outdoor playground. Our dog had a marvelous time hiking with us in the snow. We're so grateful to find a nice property like this that accepts dogs. This is a very clean, homey, comfortable house. We found everything we needed. The photos and description accurately describe the house and its amenities. Due to the stairs from the street to the main house, I would not recommend this property for those with mobility issues. This rental is a great choice for family holidays, friends get-togethers, and romantic time away together as a couple. Bob and Pat thoughtfully provide a comprehensive info book regarding the house and things to do in the area. The Lake Wenatchee, Leavenworth, and central Cascades region provides fabulous hiking, snowmobiling, white water rafting (or even calm water rafting), horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country and downhill skiing, fishing, boating, and yes, even swimming. Our 12-year-old daughter and her friend did a polar bear swim (dip and dash) in the lake in February, and we have the video to prove it! There is a manager who lives nearby in case of any issues which might arise during your stay. Bob and Pat have patiently answered all our questions and done their best to ensure that we enjoyed our vacation. We appreciate their concern for our enjoyment, and their willingness to share this special and lovely place with others. Now that we have completed our first visit to their lake cabin, when we come back it will be like returning home.

This was one of the more relaxing 3 days of my life. The cabin is wonderfully located and has everything you need. It has the perfect blend of being comfortable and nice without being stuffy. We have rented other places before that were nice but seemed cold. This cabin was just wonderful to relax in. I had numerous plans to take advantage of the local activities though I found my favorite was simply sitting on the couch and conversing, reading, staring at the lake and enjoying the fire. We will definitely be back either later this winter or maybe this summer as it looks like a great summer spot. We loved picking up pizza from the Headwaters Pub and also were able to do some good cooking in the kitchen. It felt as if we checking into another world for 3 days and go to "check out" from our busy life and recharge. We will be back as soon as time allows as our last vacations have involved a plane that added to the stress reducing it.

Our family had a wonderful experience staying at this home. The view is amazing and the home is impeccably maintained. The owners are very eager to make ones experience comfortable. The home is very clean and we appreciated all of the wonderful kitchen amenities. It was a very well-stocked kitchen with any cooking utensil and/or appliance that you would need...just bring your groceries! The hot tub is secluded and we enjoyed sitting in it and watching the night sky or seeing the eagles soar by during the day. The lake is beautiful and peaceful and the home is situated in the midst of numerous outdoor activity adventure possibilities. We enjoyed the games and the time to relax together as a family, after skiing and sledding. I highly recommend this home. Great for families or a romantic getaway.

Everything was truly wonderful: location (on the lake), easy parking, clean, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable, games/books/music available, ... The home looked lived in - in a good way; it was not sterile like a hotel. If we return to the area, we'll definitely consider returning to this home/cabin!

We have stayed at this Lake Wenatchee cabin many many times over the years, in fact our youngest daughter got married there on the most beautiful September day we've ever seen. You have views of the lake from almost every room in the house and we love to sit by the fire and read a book or relax in the hot tub and look out onto the water. In the wintertime we've cross-country skied right out the front door, even in the moonlight or driven up to Steven's Pass for skiing and snowboarding. Leavenworth is a wonderful treat anytime of the year but our favorites are Octoberfest (lots of beer and brats) and of course the Christmas Lighting Festival and Icefest Winterfest. Summer is my favorite time at the lake with kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and even swimming in July and August. There are many fond memories of floating down the White River, hiking to Spider Meadows and up Old Dirty Face. With the addition of two sons-in-law we've even added world-class rock climbing in Icicle Creek Canyon to the things you can do. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for just about anything you would want to prepare. We have many wonderful memories of family and friends sharing our gourmet dinners. This Lake Wenatchee cabin is the place to start making your very own wonderful memories.

We have stayed a couple of times - and rented it for our daughters wedding party - its a lovely place that can meet a variety of vacation moods. I like the fact that it is close to Leavenworth and lots of activities but has a "cabin in the woods" feel. The bedroom upstairs has a stunning view of the lake (as do all of the main rooms). It has its own beach and dock if you like paddling and water play. In the winter, the XC trails are groomed, 10 minutes away, and free! You won't go wrong renting this cabin - it has a cozy enough feel for a single person get-away (I have done that) but has enough room, kitchen space and dining area that it can absorb a big crowd (and also done that).
