The detached villa (ID 193) dates back to 1888 and is a picturesque sight to behold, framed by two majestic cypresses and providing perfect symmetry and elegance with a pale pink facade framed with cream pilasters, a romantic central Juliette balcony and evergreen colour shutter-framed windows to all sides.

The beautiful villa has undergone the highest standard of refurbishment with the use of local craftsmen and modern luxury touches throughout. The villa is perfect for family stays and for corporate hospitality with 4 king size beds, 2 single beds, 4 bathrooms, Wi-Fi access, a private bar and garden with outdoor swimming pool. Catering, house-keeping and chauffeur service can also be arranged for your additional comfort upon request.

Electric gates invite guests into a gravel driveway for up to 3 vehicles and a winding path leads to the entrance of the three storey villa.

Internally the ground floor boasts a spacious and relaxed living room with flat screen TV, a fully fitted kitchen and a beautiful guest suite furnished to the highest standard with a comfortable king size bed and fitted with a brand new en-suite bathroom with power shower. A stone built BBQ is situated to the terrace outside and so the kitchen provides convenient catering and food preparation options to fully enjoy alfresco dining during your stay.

A wonderful stone staircase with open banister rail and supporting stone column leads to the first floor which provides the principal living and entertaining quarters. Here at the heart of the villa guests can enjoy a splendid open plan kitchen diner and a splendid drawing room.

The fully fitted kitchen provides all the desired appliances required during your stay and boasts a bespoke hand painted Tuscan-style design with original marble flooring. The dining area features a large antique table with marble fireplace and original wooden flooring. A purpose-built private bar also provides a fabulous way to entertain guests with aperitifs before dining. The romantic Juliette balcony also provides the perfect spot for enjoying a glass of ‘prosecco’ before a splendid dinner.

The drawing room features two marble fireplaces and a lovely place to relax and entertain with double aspect views and comfortable sofas to unwind.

Stone steps lead to the second floor where two bedrooms with single beds and a double sofa bed are provided for guests as well as a modern fitted bathroom with power shower.

The top floor of the villa boasts a spectacular 85sqm master suite with romantic beamed ceilings, a comfortable king size bed, a newly fitted luxury en-suite with Jacuzzi, a very comfortable sitting area and splendid panoramic lake views of Lake Como.

In the villa’s manicured garden guests can enjoy alfresco dining with the gas and charcoal BBQ, sun bathing on the sun loungers and can cool down in the fabulous outdoor swimming pool.

The villa is ideally situated for those travelling by car with plenty of off-street parking behind its gated entrance. A local convenience store and bus service is situated in Croce and the highly recommended agro-turismo popular with families and known as ‘La Barcola’ is less than a 5 minutes drive away.

The nearby world famous Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf club provides the ideal activity for golf fans and a tennis club and nature can be found in nearby Loveno.

Menaggio is one of the famous picturesque ‘golden triangle’ towns of Lake Como and is easily accessible from Croce, being just a 5 minute’s drive away. Pretty cafe-lined piazzas, a wide variety of shops and restaurants and a family-friendly Lido with cocktail lounge provides all you need on a daily basis and a car and passenger ferry service operates from the town between Bellagio, Varenna and Cadenabbia. Nearby attractions include Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi and Villa Balbianello.

Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.

Short Breaks:
3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff.

Additional Facilities:
We offer a range of extra facilities, which are available for hire through our office 'Happy Holiday Homes' in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Camp Bed – EU 85 per week, Wi-Fi or USB Internet Stick - EU 35 per week (includes EU 10 consumable credit). Please note that signal and connectivity is not guaranteed and may depend on the strength of the signal in your rental property.

Making a Booking:
To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
