  First; The Island. Grand Cayman is beautiful Caribbean island that rivals the best of the Caribbean islands when it comes to beaches and restaurants, but manages to avoid some of the negatives (like beach peddlers). I would probably not recommend Grand Cayman for the budget conscious; the island does lean toward the expensive end of the spectrum,...yet well worth it! For foodies, you MUST go to Calypso Grill. Food, service & setting are all fantastic. For lunch, I recommend either Macabuco's (The Mahi sandwich is amazing) or Calico Jack's which is right on Seven Mile Beach. Second; The Condo. This was the second trip for my family to Villa Pappagallo (see previous review). We loved this place in February so much that we decided to come back in November. What we did not initially realize is that the condo had been sold to a new owner since our trip in February. Well, the new owner, Audrey, wasted no time making changes to the condo,...all for the better. The condo is very warm and inviting when you arrive with a few surprises that you'll just have to go there to discover. The condo is beautiful, in a somewhat secluded part of the island, yet you can be in the middle of the action on Seven Mile Beach in 5 minutes by car. Third; The owner. Audrey, is very accessible and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Ultimately, it was a tremendous pleasure doing business with her! As much as my family loves to travel and see new places, I am sure that we will be back here in the future!

  Just returned from a beautiful week at this Villa. It's exactly as described and the pictures do not do it justice. Peaceful is understated, the views and the sunsets amazing, after a 3 minute rain a beautiful rainbow shined over the beach. Superb restaurant right across the street, there were informative restaurant guides and flyers of the hot spots to go left for us, and Audrey has many lunch and dinner recommendations along with the fun things to do. We enjoyed our week in this lovely quiet and private spot. We will return!!

  We spent the Easter Holiday in Grand Cayman and loved staying at the Villa Pappagallo. The condo was the perfect for our family, close to everything but on a beautiful secluded beach....we all loved it. Scott was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property to others looking to travel to Grand Cayman.

  My wife & I just returned from a week in Grand Cayman, staying at Villa Pappagallo. The Place:The 2-bedroom condo was exactly as advertised and actually a little bigger than we had expected. The only potential drawback I could see is that there are a few staircases involved. So anybody that has difficulty with steps might want to reconsider. The condo is located in the town of West Bay, away from Seven Mile Beach. Some people may see this as a deterrent,...we don't. We prefer to travel to "the action" as opposed to being stuck in the middle of it. The condo is situated in a very quiet complex, on a beautiful and somewhat secluded stretch of beach. The beach is not ideal for swimming, but it was perfect for some of the best snorkeling of our trip (and that's saying a lot in Grand Cayman)!! The People: The owners were very easy to work with as far as making the rental arrangements and offering invaluable information about the island (i.e., restaurants, shops, etc.). Although we didn't require any assistance while there, the local property manager (Scott) was just a phone call or e-mail away and very quick to respond to any questions we had. The Island: It's Grand Cayman! Isn't that enough? Ultimately, I highly recommend this condo for a romantic getaway or even a maybe-not-quite-as-romantic family getaway. Seriously, the worst part of the entire trip was trying to remember to use a turn signal instead of turning on the windshield wipers! Don't know what I'm talking about? Go there and you'll figure it out soon enough. Great place,...Great people,...Great vacation! We will be back!!!

  Owner response: I'm very happy our first guests enjoyed their stay. I left a note for them to call me if they needed anything and they did call to ask about where to go, best dinner spots, etc. We want to make sure people enjoy the experience, and I only live down the road 400 meters or so, and can respond to any problems quickly. Our first guests left the place very neat when they left, and we appreciate it! Scott
