Welcome to our Territorial Southwest Home here in the heart of the best of Colorado. Our home is located in the sought after Twin Creek Village area of Pagosa Springs. Our location is just far enough away to provide the peace and quiet you seek while close enough to be convenient to all Pagosa has to offer. You'll find that shopping, restaurants, golf, and the Recreation Center are all approximately 5 min. away. Situated on an acre lot backing to a large wooded open space you're sure to enjoy the privacy and secluded feel our home provides. Additionally, you'll find over half the property is fenced so any four legged family members you might choose to bring along will have plenty of room to roam.
On your arrival you will find a beautifully decorated, well appointed home designed with comfort in mind. The Great Room features leather couches and chairs, custom log tables, and a convenient and warm gas fireplace. In the aspen entertainment center you'll find the A/V system featuring a Home Theater Receiver, 42' HDTV, BluRay DVD player and Direct TV Satellite system. The Dining Room seats 8 at the rustic southwest log dining table and 2 more at the adjacent breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a dual fuel range with warming drawer and all stainless appliances. In the three bedrooms you'll find one King and Two Queen beds. All three bedrooms are furnished with a variety of custom aspen log and rustic iron pieces with a mountain lodge/southwestern motife. All of our beds are oh so comfortable and feature high end linens. Additionally, there is a private loft area with a twin over full log bunk bed, a table for games, and an additional TV/Sat, DVD and a video game console with a variety of games. This area provides a wonderful buffer for kids and adults alike. Fido will even find a cozy spot curled up right next to the fireplace.
Pagosa offers an almost limitless array of outdoor activities that vary with the seasons. All are within a sort drive and some you'll find right at your back door. Head out the back gate into the wooded open space on your way to the National Forest access which borders Martinez Canyon. Here, among other things, you can hike, bike, rock climb, snowshoe or cross country ski. If a less strenuous form of leisure is on your agenda try taking a relaxing dip in the private hot tub or stretch in the oversized hammock while contemplating just how many hummingbirds can land on that feeder at one time. If the season and weather dictates try curling up in the oversized leather chair next to the fireplace with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa. No matter what you choose your cares are sure to melt away.
So no matter if you are a Powderhound or a Hound Dog you are bound to love our home away from home.

We had the good fortune to stay in this home for six weeks this winter. We've overwintered in Pagosa for many years, always renting a different home. The homes we've stayed in have all been nice, but this home was the best...by far. The layout is very convenient for guests and older children. It's well equipped and comfortably decorated. The lot is private but not too far off North Pagosa Blvd. The backyard is fenced if you happen to be bringing the family dog. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals and eat at home. In short, it's the perfect vacation home! Great hiking (even in the winter) is close by. The Gate 5 Trailhead is just a little north of Capitan Circle off North Pagosa, a short drive from the home. The Martinez Canyon Loop trail is accessed from Gate 5 and there are miles of hiking and biking trails offered. We were delighted with our stay and hope to return in the future. We rented this lovely home for the week of Christmas with a mixed group consisting of grandparents all the way to a toddler for a total of ten people. We couldn't have been more pleased. The entire experience was the best we've had in 10 years of renting property in the Pagosa Springs area. The kitchen was set up perfectly and we cooked at home every night. The house is lovely and very comfortable for a large group. The teenagers took over the loft area and it was nice to have a second TV for them to watch. We had a lot of snow while we were there and really appreciated the convenience with the close location to shopping and town. We had no trouble with the ice and snow on getting in and out of the location. The beds were very comfortable and had high quality bedding. The owners of the property were a delight to deal with. I had a lot of questions regarding the kitchen since I knew we would be cooking every night and Diana and Brian responded promptly everytime I sent an email. They even put up a Christmas tree with wrapped empty boxes and stockings to make us feel more at home during Christmas. All in all, it was a great experience and we will definately rent this house again when we are in Pagosa Springs.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This house is awesome! My husband and I stayed here with our dogs for 5 nights. The listing and pictures are very accurate, the house is clean, cozy and has everything you need. We loved the huge shower and the outdoor patio was perfect, especially with the great weather we had during our stay. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the huge, fenced yard to run and play in! We saw a lot of deer on and around the property. The owners are great and could not have been easier to work with. We look forward to our next visit!!!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This home is fantastic. The house is furnished really nicely, well stocked kitchen, good appliances, comfortable furniture, nice patio, large yard, nice bathrooms, washer-dryer. The house is tastefully decorated. We were thrilled with this home. We had everything we needed. The neighborhood is lovely, we took walks each morning. Everyone we came across was friendly. We saw a lot of deer and a lot of birds. The owners were great. We got our deposit returned within a day. The owners recommended places to see and places to take our dogs, which was helpful because we had never been to Pagosa Springs before. We would highly recommend this home, it is a great place to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This is by far one of the nicest VRBO houses we have stayed at. Beautifully decorated, very nice area, quiet, and we had deer in the back yard each morning!. We had more than enough room for 7 adults. Pagosa Springs area is a beautiful place to visit. You can not go wrong renting this house. We stayed at this lovely home for 8 nights at the very end of the Wolf Creek ski season in April 2012. We had never done a VRBO holiday before, and were coming from overseas so were a little nervous, but Brian and Diana the owners were an absolute pleasure to work with and couldn't have been more helpful. The house was immaculate, and had a great feel to it, and Pagosa is a lovely friendly little town (very laid back). The skiing at Wolf Creek was a joy - uncrowded slopes, plenty of snow (in a season when many resorts struggled) very reasonable prices and great ski school which our kids loved. As a result we had one of our best ever family holidays, and would love to come back. Thankyou Brian and Diana.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, families with teenagers.

Just wanted to send you a quick message about the wonderful time we had in Pagosa Springs. It was definitely a warm Spring Break week but was a great introduction to skiing for (4) four year olds, a seven year old and an eight year old. The home was beautiful and we had a great time enjoying the amenities. The kids really enjoyed the 3rd floor and they were either upstairs or outside playing. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to cook some rather large meals for the group. It was easy access to the grocery store, downtown sites and the drive to Wolf Creek was easy and picturesque. Thank you for your hospitality! I received your courtesy call but we were so busy sledding or skiing that I did not have a chance to call you back. Overall it was hassle free and relaxing for kids and adults alike. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days skiing and loved the proximity to the store for last minute items. The Pagosa Visitors Center staff was great and was able to give us another option for a sledding hill due to the warm weather and melted snow on the main sledding hill in town. We had a great time and look forward to planning a Spring/Summer trip to enjoy all seasons!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This house is excellent. If anything it is more than what it is reported to be in the description. We had the opportunity to spend a week there while skiing at Wolf Creek, and it definitely made the week that much more enjoyable. The drive to Wolf Creek is about 35 minutes, but it was well worth the drive to stay at this house. The house is set up so that all your needs are taken care of. The kitchen is well equipped, the the beds are very comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. We had two families stay here, 4 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 8 - 14, and there was plenty of room. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and we never felt crowded. The owners are awesome to work with. They have been prompt with everything, and were very good with all communications. You will not find a better value for your rental money. I recommend this home to anyone. I look forward to staying in this home again the next time we are in Pagosa Springs. You will not go wrong renting this house. While we only needed to stay in the property for one evening, we could have stayed for weeks! It was very charming and clean with plenty of room for our party of six. There was plenty of room in the open dining/living/kitchen area for us all to relax, read, watch TV or play board games. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchens were well stocked. The hot tub was terrific, especially when surrounded by the 20" of fresh powder they had received the day we arrived. We highly recommend the property! Easy access to downtown Pagosa restaurants and the Springs/Spa as well as nice proximity to the Wolf Creek Ski area (breathtaking 45 minute drive). The owners were a pleasure to work with as well. We will definitely look into this property again if we come through the area!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: My family and I live in the foothills outside of Denver. My Wife and I are both employed in the Healthcare field which fortunately provides us with ample time to enjoy the great outdoors here in Colorado. Our three children, one son 14, and two golden retrievers age 4 accompany us most everywhere we go. We are all certified divers so when we choose not to vacation here in Colorado we love to spend time 60 feet under a turquoise sea followed by sipping umbrella drinks to an island beat.
Why the Owner Chose Pagosa Springs:
We first discovered Pagosa Springs in 2002 while waterskiing at Lake Navajo. The lake is billed as Colorado's answer to Lake Powell. While the lake certainly lives up to it's billing we were quick to discover it was just one of hundreds of recreational activities in the area. There is simply no off season here. The thing that really clinched it for us though was the people. Everyone is just so friendly and the town is what all the other Colorado resorts were before big box stores and mega hotels. Pagosa still has that quaint, mountain town feel to it.
