  Ive been meaning to email to THANKYOU for everything- we had a WONDERFUL time and ABSOLUTELY LOVED the house and studio. It was perfect. Everything you need, lots of dishes, utensils, stuff to cook with, lots of towels, bedding, equipment- it was really great. Great location, quiet, convenient! Ive stayed in alot of other places and they have so little which makes having a normal 2 weeks at home tougher. I will most definately will be back and will pass on your wonderful accomodation to whoever asks me about where to stay. thanks again for all your help and all your communication throughout the last few months.   Maui and AEM Rentals go hand in hand for us. We've rented both the larger upstairs suite and the smaller studio on a number of occassions. Of all our travel accomodations, we've found this rental the most comfortable, the owners genuinely friendly and helpful, and the best value. Ann and her daughters Elly and Mary have an ideal location in Maui- only 2 blocks from an uncrowded beach, away from the traffic and buisiness of Central Kihei, yet a short drive away to the restaurants and night life. Every evening we walked the beach while the sun went down before returning to our suite to make supper. Both units are immaculately kept. Its obvious the love and care that have gone into this house. The upper suite has a large veranda that made eating meals with a view to the ocean an absolute pleasure. Its tiled step and foyer and overall design give it a unique style of its own. The kitchen is very well laid out and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The studio downstairs has a tiled floor and lots of light.The outside washer, dryer and clothesline made beach towels and clothes easy to manage. Ann and the girls have left beach toys for their guests ...I even spotted a pail with sand shovels. Being able to rent the whole house is also a great option. Last year we went to Maui with friends. They stayed upstairs, we stayed downstairs and we got together for evening meals...perfect. I have chemical sensitivity and I found this home to be environmentally stable and the owners quite willing to accomodate my cleaning needs. Its been a treasure and has made our visits to Maui in the middle of those 30 below Canadian winters even more memorable. When we have to leave Maui, we are refreshed and relaxed. While a large part of that is the beauty of Maui, the other is this wonderful house and its great owners. We recommend it highly. Donna and Dick Brandon, Manitoba

  Dear Elly, We so enjoyed our stay at your studio in Kihei. Everything we needed was there. . . Coffee maker, hot shower, kitchen, T.V. with VCR and only a few blocks to the beach. We did walk down one evening to "bob" in the water & watch the local kite boarders & wind surfers. We were also close to two supermarkets, Starbucks & the Hapa Club, where we danced to the wonderful music of Willie K (I have two blisters to prove it!). The location was central for us, convenient to Makawao, Haleakala, Paia, LaHaina, Ma'alaea Harbor (wonderful aquarium!) and Kahului, where we saw a photo exhibit of rare & endangered plants & wildlife at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Easy trek to airport . . . We couldn't have been happier. Of course, having a zippy convertible was part of the fun of getting around. Again, many thanks for great accommodations - very quiet & convenient & clean.

  Hi Elly; I just wanted to write you a quick note to tell you that we had a wonderful time in Maui and especially enjoyed the studio. The beach is so beautiful and so close; we went for long walks on the beach every morning and spent quite a bit of time playing in the water. I think we traveled every road possible except the road from Kahului, Hwy 340. We'll save that for next time, Bill is already planning our vacation in Maui next year with my sister and her husband. Maybe we'll be able to rent your upstairs unit. Anyway I want to thank you again for all your help and advice on the places to see. You are so lucky to have such a beautiful place to call your home away from home.

  Hi Elly, We've just got back from Maui and have come back to earth with a thud! Your place was great and suited what we wanted. It was quiet and peaceful and well equipped. We spent a lot of our tiime snorkelling and really liked Ulua beach. We visited Hana, saw the sun rise at the crater, drove from the north down the west coast, took a boat trip out to Molokini and snorkelled. Chris also went diving. Really enjoyed eating at Pita Paradise in Kihei. Johnny and Christine the owners were lovely. We also went to Mamma's Kitchen on our last night... yum! Thanks once again for letting us stay at your place. Best wishes
