This was our favorite vacation rental spanning an extended holiday around Spain. The pictures are a true representation of the apartment which we found to be clean and well furnished. However, the view from the very private large balcony was really the most impressive feature. We spent a lot of our time looking out to the beautiful unobstructed view and enjoying the soothing sounds of waves crashing onto the beach below. We wandered the narrow streets and passages of Nerja and found reasonably priced restaurants within the immediate neighborhood . Although the town has definitely been influenced by the migration of vacationing/expat UK and German sun seekers, there is still plenty of authentic Spanish & Moorish charm. We made side trips to Ronda and Frigiliana to add a little diversity. There is free parking on the street and pay parking at the end for those who don't have the patience to troll for open spots. Vivienne (owner) was great to deal with and provided hints and details that made the stay extremely comfortable. Truly a wonderful property situated in an ideal setting.

Our Wonderful Home Away from home!

After three weeks of travel, we needed a vacation from our vacation! Our home away from home was this beautiful condo in a small complex called "El Tuhillo". We stayed on the third floor with breathtaking views. The pictures above are very accurate. There were two bedrooms so our teenagers could have a little space. The kitchen was brand new and easy to use. The apartment was clean and even had a few beers and tinned food for us upon arrival! (Which we replaced upon leaving) It was also a very quiet place being just a little way from the town. The owner is great with answering emails immediately and has a wealth of information in a three ring binder. Sitting on the balcony was almost as nice as being down at the beach! Sunsets were gorgeous! We had many wonderful meals right here... we didn't even feel the need to eat out! When we did go out, it was a short walk into town on a pedestrian street. Our only problem is that we weren't ready to leave! I would definitely recommend "El Tuhillo" to anyone traveling to Nerja and hope to go there again someday.

Situé dans la partie Est de Nerja, ce site enchanteur offre plusieurs avantages. Tout à la fois à proximité de tout et suffisamment éloigné des grands rassemblements, il offre surtout une vue imprenable sur la Méditerranée. Dès l'aube, on peut voir le soleil se lever derrière les montagnes: quel spectacle! À l'intérieur du penthouse tout est impeccable, il ne manque rien. Les 52 marches pour y accéder offrent aussi l'occasion un bon exercice cardio. Vivement à recommander.

This is a lovely place both the town and the apartment. The apartment overlooks the water and has a spectacular view. It is comfortable and very well supplied. The town is at the front-door. You don't need a car, ours sat in the parking lot, as there is access to everything on foot; lovely restaurants; interesting and old streets very alive and busy; in fact an old world Spain with new world conveniences. Excellente location et terrasse exceptionnelle

Nous avons passés quatre semaines du 30 Octobre au 27 Novembre 2010 dans cet appartement, c'est un appartement très tranquille tout en étant situé à quelques minutes de marche du centre-ville et du Balcon de Europa. L'appartement est très confortable, la cuisine est équipée d'appareils très récent et de bonne qualité. Mais le clou y est très certainement la terrasse de 4 mètres par 4 avec une vue époustouflante, plein sud et par conséquent très ensoleillée. La description sur le site est très fidèle à ce que nous y avons trouvé. La propriétaire Vivienne a été très disponible et a répondu promptement à.toutes nos questions avant notre départ.Le seul petit problème est le manque d'ascenseur et les 52 marches à monter. Cet appartement n'est pas recommandé à une personne avec mobilité réduite. Pour les personnes en forme la qualité de l'appartement fait vite oublier ce petit inconvénient.

Perfect location, stunning view, beach on your doorstep

We stayed at Vivienne's place from 24/7 to 6/8 and had a lovely stay. We've never been to a place where there are so many restaurants - and all good as far as the ones we tried. The apartment has a lovely view and is perfectly positioned for the beaches and the town centre. Nerja is a beautiful plave, very clean (beach and sea) and has a very relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back.

Our family of 3 stayed in this condo for 7 days. It was very clean and tidy with most of the ameneties one would have in their own home. One of the best parts of this condo is the huge deck overlooking the ocean - what an amazing view. The condo location is excellent as it is far away from the pool noise, but one still has quick access to enjoy a dip. Thank you Vivienne.

We stayed in Nerja for 9 days, Dec.23,09 - Jan.01, 2010. Although the weather wasn't on our side and it rained almost every day I'd say our vacation was very pleasant. Apartment is very nice, clean and specious enough for our family of 3 with with amazing view from the balcony. It was easy to find and a huge parking near by (but not too close) assured that we didn't have to circle the block. You can walk around at any time as it's very safe place. We rented a car and drove to many cities but you can just as easy do without as there are plenty of buses and shopping in walking distance. A few nice restaurants near by, our favorite - "Sloans", the food is very good and it was the only one that opened for dinner at 5 pm opposite to 7 pm everywhere else. We stayed in Nerja out of season but if you are there in the summer, there is a pool at the apartment complex and a beach near by. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you Vivienne!

my family and i have stayed in nerja mant times but i must say this is one of the best apartments we have stayed in so far, the location has the best of both worlds near to the beach and a couple of mins walk into town. The apart is equiped with everything you need, comfortable and spacious and the jewel in the crown is the view from the balcony which is stunning. The pool area is quiet and has a abundance of sun loungers cant fault anything and hope to return next year

The photos of this apartment do not do it justice, it is larger than you think. It stays lovely and cool all the time and has everything you could possibly want and more. The views are to die for, the location is excellent and the pink guide book was extremely useful. Fantastic holiday! Thanks

I think this apartment is in the best position in Nerja,fantastic views overlooking the sea and easy walking distance to a huge choice of great restaurants.Tastefully furbished the apartment is modern and comfortable and was kitted out with everything we needed - we will certainly be returning next year

Myself and a friend stayed in this beautiful apartment and had a super week. The view from the balcony is spectacular and we found the apartment very spacious, clean and modern. Location couldnt have been any better with the centre only a two minute walk away! I look forward to returning again next year!

Fantastic position, wonderful views of the beach and sea. Easy walking to all the restaurants and bars, yet away from the noise. This is a very nice apartment, kitchen has all the equipment you would need, and the fridge is awesome..had ice within 45 minutes in the freezer!! the sofa is great for the necessary siesta, we all had a wonderful holiday, I just wish I could wake up to that view every day!
