This is a great family cabin with a large variety of things to do.
Being a log cabin it stays cozy warm in the winter and stays cool during the hot days of summer.
Clear water, but bottom is silty in bay and water is shallow. For swimming, there are floaty toys, a canoe & rowboat to access the swimming platform dock in clear, deeper water.
Great yard for Bocce Ball and horse shoes.
Canoe and rowboat available to explore the 12km long lake as well as a channel can be navigated to little Lac Des Roches.

I'm trying to think of the perfect words to describe this home away from home and the first word that popped into my head was relaxing and then quiet, heavenly. These are rare words in my family with twin girls who are now 5 years old. We are looking forward to our fourth family trip this summer to this wonderful cabin getaway.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
