Best rental house we've used in years....
Best rental house we've used in years....
This house was perfect from the moment we walked in the door : Spacious, bright, clean, kid friendly, beautiful.... It accommodated 6 adults and 2 kids 3 years and under with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Plenty of space at the dinning tables indoors and out. A few children items were there (booster seat, pack n play and sand toys) which meant less to pack. The outdoor space was great, we've stayed in many rentals and to have one with grass where our children could run around safely was great. This was our first trip to the cape so I had to get used to the fact that beach access doesn't mean activity access. It was a quiet street and safe for my 3 year old and husband to run around the block without the concern of traffic. The beach was PRIVATE... We went in the early seasons but if there were 15 people on the beach (counting our group) that was a lot. Easy to get to and quick to get home for potty breaks with the little ones. We walked barefoot most beach days. We saw lots of ferries, boats and cargo going in and out of the harbor... Very exciting for a 3 yr old. He also loved the kite surfers and they were so friendly on the beach to teach us more about the sport. My only con was there was no AC in the house part only bedrooms and the 1st floor AC unit flipped the breaker 2 times ( but my father who is an electrician was able to find a plug that was not on the same switch and it didn't happen again). It got hot when the sunshine came through the windows but there was also a nice breeze. We look forward to going back.....

Owner response: I'm so glad you had a good time, thank you for the kind words and please come back whenever you can.
We arrived at the home to find a very welcome clean comfortable home with all the amenities you might need. The home is close to the port and a private beach area for the local neighborhood. Not to mention the landlord was great to work with and even purchased pack and plays for our two babies. She did not have to provide the baby beds bud did so on her own dime (hard to travel thru the airport with pack and plays). I hope we get to come back soon! I strongly recommend this property if you are looking for a home in this area.

Owner response: I am glad you had a great time, and I know how hard it is to travel with children much less trying to bring a pack n play so your welcome and please come again.
This is a beautiful house on a quiet street, a short one minute walk to a quiet, private beach, and a nice 15 minute walk to town. We stayed here in mid-September and could not have been happier with our vacation - owing in large part to how easy the owner was to work with and how wonderful this home is. Parents, grandma and our 15 month old toddler were all quite pleased! Highly recommend this property/owner!

It's Home !!
It's Home !!
I would never have known this was a rental property - as it was more like visiting someone's home. It had every amenity we could imagine - the kids were as comfortable as the adults. We had been scheduled to arrive at the sometime as Irene - the owner was flexible and very responsive - we had a fantastic time and cannot wait to go back !!

Exceeded Our Expectations!
Exceeded Our Expectations!
Our first family visit to Cape Cod was that much better given this wonderful home. The location couldn't be better - a short walk to the beautiful beach and close to Main Street Hyannis and the harbor. Our family of five was extremely comfortable in this spacious, lovely home. When you have three children, each having their own bedroom was an extra bonus. The home was spotless and well furnished. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend this home, particularly for a family We took several excursions each day and, being located in Hyannis, it was the perfect central starting point. A highlight for our stay was the Seashore, Seal and Lighthouse tour provided by Cape Cod Scenic Tours. This was, by far, the best tour we've ever taken as a family. I would highly recommend this for first-time visitors to Cape Cod. The tour guides/owners are delightful and extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. Another highlight was Art's Dune tours in Provincetown. Overall, a wonderful family vacation with excellent accommodations.

Owner response: I am so glad you had a great visit, the Cape offers so many sights and seeing it the way you did was perfect! I too suggest trying Cape Scenic Tours and Art's Dune to anyone that comes to visit. Please come and see us again and thank you for taking the time to let me know that your visit was a succcess. This was a perfect location for our vacation with our extended family. The home was extremely comfortable even with nine adults and three infants and in a lovely location. We had a short walk to the beach as well as being within walking distance to the harbor and Main St. which has a number of shops and restaurants. The street is quiet and great for families with children. Because Hyannis is centrally located, it's a great starting point to visit anywhere on the cape. Our children enjoyed biking on the rail trail, kayaking on Bass River and sailing on a schooner out of Falmouth. We even took a drive to Truro Winery and Provincetown. I would highly recommend this location.
